Cocaine Bear

OMG I just watched the trailer.

It sounds HILARIOUS. I can understand if it isn't your thing but... if you like this kind of movie, it seems like it'd be really funny.

Why on earth did Keri Russell make this movie? I mean, she’s no Meryl Streep, but you’d think she have better options following the success of The Americans.

I can give you two million reasons.

I'm sure your kids will definitely not watch it at their friends' houses!

It's only an hour and a half long, just FYI

No different than Inigo Montoya seeking vengeance against the man who murdered his father.

You are unreliable. The run time is 95 minutes.

My 17 yr old son saw it last night and thought it was hilarious.
He said the whole theater was laughing.

That should tell you something. 17 year olds like dumb humor.

Many people are who aren’t just 17 year olds. In two weeks, it has already made its budget back. While not a killer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, some prominent reviewers are quite positive about it.

Great movie for the theater!

It's based upon a true story, yall. Of course it's absurd and over the top. It's campy. It's supposed to be!

No one said "all." Not "all" 17 year olds like dumb humor. If this isn't your thing then no problem. I don't think anyone is claiming it's high theater. But it's good for even older people to be silly sometimes. I think the adults who abandon silliness entirely are the ones who get old really fast.

Just saw this. It’s not as good as the trailer, I would have cut out half of the human characters and focused more on the bear. Still, it’s only and hour and a half and it was a fun time. The child actors where good as well.

It's titled "cocaine bear" - how deep did you think this movie needed to be? Of course it's silly slapstick dumb humor. It can totally be funny but you cannot seriously approach this with any sort of common sense/rationality. The bear gets high on crack. I mean - use your imagination - there is levels of funny with that. If it sucks it's not that funny. If done well, that's a great time at the theater!!!!
