I never see any freaks in the moco golds that dress like this |
They’re not freaks, they are women in their late teens and early 20s. They are definitely in MoCo. |
Not sure why call them freaks. I am not a fan but the in the butt pants became very popular among the young women who lift. It is all about the booty these days in the end. |
If you lift correctly, you do not need these type of pants to accentuate your butt. If you have flat butt, these pants will not create that illusion. |
I don’t know what to tell you. All the young women who lift heavy at my boutique gym wear pants and shorts like this. They don’t need to but they do. |
Not really. But I generally feel more scrutinized and judged by other women than men. |
I go to a female only gym and the women all wear the skin tight pants, as I do, and a variety of skin tight and cropped to looser fitting shirts. It's all for comfort and not exhibitionist. DH goes to a regular gym and the women there wear basically briefs and sports bras. I think it might be age-related. The female only gym tends to have women 25+ and the regular gym has women 18+. I remember being 18 and basically wearing briefs and a sports bra. I didn't think anything of it and I didn't care if anyone noticed me or not. I was just there to work out. |
Omg poor you. |
As a man, I have to agree with this. Don’t make women feel uncomfortable at the gym by looking at them. You’re in control of where and for how long you look. Focus on your workout. What she is wearing is not your business even if it is ridiculous. |
If you work out in spandex pants and a sports bra, don’t complain when you get looked at.
And I’m going to look at you if I want, not avert my eyes like a slave. |
Yes, this is weird. A lot of women are wearing makeup at the gym because they've maybe come from somewhere else, but most wouldn't put on makeup to go to the gym. That sounds not so great for your skin. |
I prefee to work out in a sports bra and short bike shorts. So do people find this comfortable? Yes. I mostly work out in my home gym. When I travel for work and have to work out in the hotel, I wear a tank top or t shirt over my bra so as to not make a scene, and I also sometimes wear running shorts rather than tight bike shorts. |
NP. You might want to unpack that. I used to feel the same way, until I looked hard at my internalized misogyny. I don’t feel that way anymore. Food for thought. |
It’s one thing to look, it’s another thing to stare/ogle. I hope you know the difference. A person’s attire doesn’t negate their right to respect. |
Woman here and agree w/these PPs 100%. This should not be such a difficult thing for any adult, male or female. |
