Working out in skin tight garb

The worst is when you finish a set and just look up and realize that the skin-tight booty pants woman is in your line of sight.

You didn't specifically look at her, but then you feel an obligation to quickly look away.

Which I do. But it also feels silly. If I sit up from the bench press and see a man doing RDLs, I don't quickly jerk my head away. But it feels like we have to when there's a woman in booty shorts

Ikr. Yes, women should wear whatever they want. Those of us who grew up on Earth and who know men understand that, if our boobs or butts are visible, we will be looked at. The more beautiful women know they'll be looked at regardless of the way they are dressed. The smart and beautiful women don't show the goods off to everybody all the time.

OP, I think it's natural that you have to make an effort to look away from an attractive person working out in a shiny silver suit. Truly, I think you would also find your eye being drawn to an unattractive person in a silver suit because SHINY! and MOVEMENT! You wouldn't feel as weird about it, though.

1000% this. Don't stress about it, gym dad! It's natural as looking at a peacock or a red monkey butt. We are all animals and very visually stimulated (good and bad--sometimes it means not dying and sometimes it means mating).

Possibly both. A stretchy one piece bodysuit (think dancers, skaters, gymnasts) can be extremely comfortable to work out it. It conforms to your skin, even as you move. Silver could be to get attention, or it’s just a color she finds pleasing. Notice, briefly enjoy the view, avoid creepy leering.

Don't jerk your head away. Instead look down at her shoes. Do they match? what brand are they, etc. Will be like you're assessing her wardrobe, rather then her "goods" if that makes you so uncomfortable.

We don't know if it's a unitard. He said it's a "superhero suit". Maybe just a fitted top and leggings in the same color. That seems a lot more likely

Honestly, I'm not sure what the problem is. Do your workout, let her do hers. If you catch yourself looking (understandable), just avert your eyes in a reasonable time so you're not leering.

Do you want to ban her from the gym or force her to dress in loose clothes so you don't have to spend a half-second thinking "oh I'm staring, better look away"? That doesn't seem quite fair, does it.

Yes. Most women in fact wear no makeup at all when working out.
