What's something that you get really sick and tired of having to explain to people?

Why Breast Milk is best.
Why having an intact and functional family is not a privilege but a choice.

It’s a privilege and not a choice for kids!

That I do not like seafood. Any of it. Please stop trying to convince me that your lobster/crabcakes/swordfish is so delicious and I would change my mind if I just tried a bite now. And no, I do not bring this up as a conversation topic. It arises when we are eating out at [beach place vacation] for dinner and I order something non-seafood from the menu.

So annoying! Educate yourself before asking something so ridiculous.
I am not protein deficient now nor have I ever been in the 7 years that I have been eating WFPB. In fact, I can actually strength train and grow my muscles substantially(mind-blown).

If you called yourself a vegetarian instead of “WFPB” people may understand better.

PP. But I'm NOT vegetarian. I don't eat dairy or eggs. Whole Food Plant Based is the only way to describe how I eat.

That atheist and agnostic are not the same thing.

OMG - then just say you are vegan. No one will care.

Here's mine: being the head of a community volunteer group does NOT mean you get paid

Clicked on this thread to say exactly the opposite. The people who are most successful in business and law are not necessarily the smartest. Those with innate genius-level intelligence may not be able to parlay it into being successful.

That's true. Work ethic is important too.

Being good looking and charming leads to success. Even for dumb dumbs.

Actually we don't need you to explain anything. Don't talk about your diet or restrictions or meal plan.

Thank you very much.

Exactly. Your problem is you feel the need to tell everyone about your very, very, very virtuous eating.

How people make stuff up on social media

That tweets are not medical advice

That people on Twitter can be fake

That Democrats and Republicans are equally terrible politicians and whatever one accuses the other of, they are also doing.

That the DMV is a constant churn - of people, places, things, ideas,

That 20 years ago was 2003 and not the 1960s or 70s

That TV shows and movies still portray characters in their 40s/50s as growing up - teen and college years - in the 60s and early 70s making references to that time period and that music. Some have got better about it but it seems to be a slow creep.

“Liberal” and “leftist” are different things, only American liberals call themselves that. Being further to the left on economic issues is not the same as being “more liberal.”

Liberal is best used to describe permissiveness on social issues, and in the rest of the world, it refers to free market economics or neoliberalism. I’m cool with social progressives and Democrats who are pro LGBTQ and abortion being called “liberals,” but I can’t stand it when AOC, Bernie, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are called “more liberal” when referring to their economic policies.

I associate with a lot of leftists. They hate “liberals.”

That DCUM isn't a source of factual information.

they all have a degenerative eye condition where they're losing their central vision. It sucks. And no one can see that they're actually disabled.

I feel you so much on this, even though I’m an adult. I may have the same genetic condition as your kids. I’m so sorry for them.

It is frustrating to explain to people that I can’t just treat my vision loss with glasses or Lasik. It is literally not correctable or treatable. I know people don’t understand, but it gets really old.
