Mindy lost weight in season 3, whyyyy! She was lovely in season 1 and 2.

She was really skinny in season 2

Yes she really needs some support. I loved her style in the first 2 seasons. This season most of her clothes are misses and too try hard.

I know Madeline is supposed to be brash, but is she supposed to be disgusting? She’s like a sloppy drunk.

+1 Sexy in your 50's is different from sexy in your 20's. She looks ridiculous.

The character is probably meant to be early 40s. Yes her study line is very weird and what’s with the giant pink water bottle?

Gabrielle is still dreamy and l like Mindy.

The pink water bottle is to highlight the differences between the Americans and the French. We're known in France for obsessively hydrating.

I watch for the fashion and scenery. Paris is my favorite city in the world so this is escapism for me, even if the plot is stupid and some of the acting is bad. I hate how this young Emily always has an amazing vision for clients and wins all of them over. It's hard to get past.

If you’ve never breastfed, you might not know how insane it is to stay hydrated. Idk why but it’s way, way more water than the amount of milk you produce. The first few months postpartum you drink a truly crazy amount of water and you are thirsty all the time.

Talking about hair is has anyone else notices that Camille’s hair always seems to be really greasy and most of the time it looks awful? I feel like they tried to make her basic and bland this season.

I like her hair and her weight, she is perfect.
Emily should beef up a little.

I really don’t understand the harsh, greasy hair. It’s not flattering, and Camille is a beautiful woman!

Lily Collins is so thin. I think that’s why they put her in these over-the-top outfits. It also makes her look older than her actual age. She has so many wrinkles around her eyes now…

I read an article about the actress that plays Mindy and how she didn't really like the shift to music in her storyline. I guess she was already known for singing before the show and wanted to try something without singing.

She got a lot of attention when she sang the BTS cover last season, one of the band members put it on Instagram, so now she’s known for the singing.

Emily is my least favorite character and always was. Completely vapid, self-absorbed, and tone deaf about how she comes off. Her clothes are utterly ridiculous. I get that it's part of the character but come on . . . some of her outfits are so over-the-top silly, tacky, and unflattering. And she is much, much too skinny.

The show overall is mostly fun but, by this newest season, it's getting a little tiresome and trying too hard. I def didn't enjoy season 3 as much.

As for the others:
Gabriel is still a doll, though I agree something was off with him this season.
Alfie is very yummy.
Love Mindy. Love Sylvie. Love Luc.
Obvs the scenery and shooting is gorgeous.

The story . . . eh.

I feel this way about Emily. Her outfits have always been a "lot" but this season they are just ugly, unflattering, and silly. And she can barely walk in the super high heels.

Plus so unoriginal!

I love some of the other characters. But Emiliy, nope, sorry. She looks like a small child playing dress up with her mom's clothes. Plus there is zero chemistry between her and any of her boyfriends. It's jut not believable that she would charm everyone around her with her "wit"... And after all this time in Paris she still can't pronounce "Bonjour". I guess I just love to hate her.

I've hated her a lot more in previous seasons. This season I started liking her. You know what's funny? In real life she's fluent in French so her poor language skills on the show is a choice for the character!

Re: the clothes - I would love at some point to show her actually shopping. It's one of the things I liked about SATC - they didn't just have the characters wearing crazy clothes. They showed them shopping for them. The expense of those shoes became a plot point. I wish they would do that more here, too. Is she learning about French fashion? Shopping the flea markets? Does she sell her clothes on Instagram - is that why she can have this large wardrobe in a tiny apartment with no storage space?

Also how much do you think she earns for her job? And who is paying for the apartment now that she's no longer working for the original firm?

Honestly, I tore through this season with nary a snarky comment and I am looking forward to season 4. This show won me over, dagnabit.

***SPOILERS BELOW***

With the end of season cliffhanger, I don't see how Emily and Gabriel can ever really be together now. Unless Camille and [someone else] get married or get into a serious relationship and Gabriel helps co-parent the kid.

I think it's supposed to be how Americans are obsessed with water and hydrating. I thought the water bottle was funny.

I wish they'd put her in clothes that fit, though. She's a beautiful woman who deserved better than to be squeezed into a too-small dress.
