Where on Naviance did you find the score? |
Test scores in about me. But, again, it’s only there if your school has uploaded it. Most have not. |
yes. When they get the full report, it'll show which questions they missed. |
Nothing here for an FCPS HS. |
I'm the poster you're responding to. I live in Howard County. I am unsure if my child's page resembles your child's or not, however my directions are below. 1. Once I logged into my child's Naviance account it takes you to the homepage. 2. In the upper right-hand corner of the home page (near your child's initials) click on "About Me". There is an arrow pointing down right beside the "About Me" tab 3. A list of things will come up once you click on "About Me". Look at the subtitle "Documents and Notes" The test score tab is under it. 4. Afterwards, click on "Test Scores" Just two clicks from the homepage "About Me" and "Test Scores." Every AP, SAT, PSAT score for my child is in that Test Score section. I hope this helps. |
I'm sure this is school specific. My DS (a senior) only shows his SAT superscore total. That's it. |
| You do all know the PSAT and SAT are not reported on the same scale? You can't really compare the scores. |
I believe that's why OP requested others experiences for comparison. There are sites that claim they can convert PSAT to SAT. |
The counselors have to log in the scores. If you are not seeing your child's score under the "Test Scores" means that your child's counselor has yet to put the information into Naviance. Also, you have logged into your child's Naviance account not your account. |
But the score report addresses this and what the correlating SAT score is... but I think the OP was looking for info about how scores increase. I can say my kid's went up significantly with test prep. But he preferred the Act to the SAT the entire time. |
| Anyone know when they publish state-level cutoffs for NMS? |
September |
Wow. That's a long time to wait. I'd thought they published cutoffs sometime in spring, but then announced finalists' names in September (?). but I don't know why I thought that... |
Mine had a 223 in Maryland (class of '22) and the cutoff was 224 that year. |
Art Sawyer usually comes up with cutoff estimates long before the announcements. Watch for updates here over the next few months https://www.compassprep.com/national-merit-semifinalist-cutoffs/ (We need to keep in mind that most students still do not have their PSAT scores, so it will be a while before anyone can come up with estimates) |
