I would assume that they don’t want their coworkers to know he’s committing residency fraud? |
The fraud is to the state I live in not DC. The mayor is just stealing from other states. It is even for 100 percent WFH jobs. |
How is fraud when he was going to rent something in DC and pay taxes in DC? |
This |
He came onboard during the pandemic. Makes a big difference than being in the office and taking casually. |
DP, but legally he would have to pay income taxes in his actual state of residence, not in DC. Renting an apartment he doesn’t live in doesn’t change his residence (which would’ve where he actually resides for most of the year). |
Don’t do this. You will need to show utility bills to prove residency for a license…. |
I don’t need to show license. Just an DC address in HR system and proof I pay DC income taxes. It is a pure scam. |

Here’s one for $450 |
| I would suggest moving into one of the tent cities, but your employer will probably bull doze you. |

Uhhh, hello? Create a brand new gmail address with a fake name that's used strictly for this endeavor, then list it for the OP here, even if you have to list it out like this: TomJones@gmaildotcom Since it's not your personal email, it shouldn't be a problem. |
|
Welp don’t be this guy OP.
https://fox5dc.com/news/mayor-bowser-concerned-over-dc-deputy-mayors-actions Geldart allegedly has an apartment in Southeast D.C. while actually living in a Falls Church, Virginia home with family. |
Craigslist is what you’re looking for OP. Cheap room in a shared house. Although I think it’s pretty silly to rent a second room rather than just getting a new job. |
|
In case the OP is still considering this maneuver, they may want to reconsider...
