The Kennedy Center is ridiculous for still requiring masks

Hamilton is overrated. People say they loved it because they would look like fools for spending that much money to see an average show at best.

You know its $99, right? Hardly a large sum of money. Its like the people complaining about Cirque du Soleil was too expensive.

It’s a lot of money for some of us in the middle class. I can’t often spend $200 plus parking plus sitter on one night out with my spouse.

So watch it on Disney Plus. You won’t need a mask or a sitter. Or parking.

I was thinking the same thing.

Will really dampen the experience.

So don’t go.

Nobody cares about your experience, snowflake.

Sorry, NO ONE in Europe is requiring masks.

If Broadway and DC still are, I wonder what's wrong with you fellas?

Europe is more vaxxed than the US, has socialized medicine, and theater owners are apparently ok with cancelling a show there if they have to and losing money.

The US has a significant population refusing to vaccinate, no free medical care, and theater owners are capitalists who need to make bank. There are very few support nets so everyone is on their own.
Hence, we have to do what we can so the show can go on.

Funny how everyone is coming home from Europe with covid. Or two weeks of “bronchitis”.

Yup, EVERYONE.

I love US science these days. Men get pregnant right?

Wrong, wrong and wrong.

It's funny really.

Just take it off when the lights go off.

Hey there all caps. Simmer down and try not to be so extreme. I’m sorry basic things like a mask are so triggering for you.

Guessing this is pressure from elderly donors.

I agree, OP, and we won't go until the requirement is removed. Not relaxing at all.

Best part of this thread. Yes. Please do that. Perfection.

Apparently the Kennedy Center and the vast majority of it's patrons doesn't think it's funny. If non maskers were paying the Kennedy Center's bills alone, and wouldn't have fits if the performance was canceled, they probably wouldn't require masks.

You can always watch it on Disney maskless or fly to Europe and see maskless performances there.

I’d like your budget, please.

PP: I meant I would like your budget to be my budget, not that I need you to explain your budget to me. $99 is a large sum of money to me.

I have absolutely no trouble wearing a mask, but showing a vax card at this stage of the pandemic, when vaxxed people are just as infectious as the unvaxxed, is just theater.

I proudly displayed my vax card and wore a mask to see Randy Rainbow at the Warner. Like, who cares?

Clearly you do since you're spouting about it on here. You and all the other old fogies.

So you think you're young and cool because you're "over" wearing a mask in a quiet setting for two hours?
