| Although we don’t know who was behind this, it’s convenient to blame it on Ukraine. |
Nah. I think the Ukrainians are what the Russians want to be - dedicated, loyal, and fighting for a cause. I think it's more likely that even if Russia "wins", Ukrainian's with a grudge will make the next 20 years hell for Russians. I see it more like a Northern Ireland scenario. |
| Russian government says that the bomb was planted by a female Ukrainian nationalist who was there with her 10 y.o. daughter. This is nonsense but I know what purpose that story serves for Russian propaganda: to explain the necessity of killing women and children in Ukraine because you see, they are terrorists too! |
| Russia is aggressively blaming Ukraine. Even saying that she was the intended target, not her father. |
They always lie. When Ukrainians truly do something (blow up their warship or airport in Crimea), they say it’s a result of their own negligence. When Ukrainians have nothing to do with something, they say it’s on them. |
It works for the Israelis so why not Russians? Tried and true. Or Saddam. |
Any nation is dedicated and loyal when fighting the invaders on their own land. That's what the Soviets were when the Nazis invaded. It's hard to be dedicated and loyal fighting on someone else's land for god knows what. There are very few cultural differences between Russians and Ukrainians and most people, including their own, cannot tell them apart. Remember Chechnya had a grudge too and suffered way beyond what Ukraine suffered, yet it did not take 20 years for it to normalize. And Chechens are nothing like Russians! |
LOL Ponomarev who fled Russia after charges were filed against him for embezzling thousands of dollars in Skolkovo and found refuge in Ukraine thereafter? That's your source here? Sure. Whatever. |
That's the Russian line for why the Ukraine belongs with Russia. |
and who are you that you are such an expert in this area? |
LOL you Trumpsters had no problem believing qanon consipracies. But that's the argument you want to use. LOL. Sure. Whatever. |
Just a coffeeboy!! |
You can acknowledge what's true without drawing any sort of conclusions from it. Ethnic groups can be alike, or not alike, and live together in one state, or separately. One has nothing to do with the other. Chechens are utterly unlike Russians in every single sense - ethnic origins, language, customs, religion, culture. Yet Russia fought to prevent secession, and they remain a part of the federated state - like Dagestan, Bashkiria, or any one of a myriad ethnic communities within Russia. Distinctness doesn't mean you must live apart. Similarity doesn't mean you must live together. |
Why don't you argue using facts instead of calling names? In the immortal words of Junie B, that's not very attractive, madam. |
Is Putin putting out "fact" of who committed the bombing? Should we trust Putin more than a polticial commentator? As far as embezzlement or any other "crimes", look at how many people around Trump were indicted/convicted of crimes, yet Trumpsters and Trump have no issues believing, trusting, and listening to these criminals. But sure, that's different. LOL |
