Why all these assassinations? Were they all suspected of being western spies? Were they urging Putin to stop the war?

You never know who is coming after you. Taking out high level people pushes the talk of a coup underground. Also let’s people settle scores. Don’t like Jim because he is your rival tell people he is disloyal. Conservatives should be paying attention because this will happen to them in the new trump regime.

I don’t understand why Republicans are so eager to live in a brutal dictatorship.

You need to understand what happened in Russia after the fall of communism. Many people credited him with saving them from that. Of course, it’s highly likely that he actually engineered the apartment block bombings in Russian cities which was blamed on Chechen terrorists and justified the second Chechen war.

[/The consequences of shock therapy were severe for Russia. The economy contracted by nearly 50 percent between 1991-97, and experienced hyperinflation in the early 1990s. Social dysfunction followed, with a dramatic rise in poverty, corruption, and capital flight.

You've got it backwards. If you're a Republican, your line of thinking is that you're part of the dictatorship that's being brutal to others. In other words, that you will be part of the "Party" that determines the rules others will live by.

Exactly. Right wing fascists foolishly think it will be they who are the strong who will lord over others. Same goes for pro gun libertarianism, anarchocapitalism, etc. They completely neglect to think ahead to when someone else with more guns than them comes along and now it is they who are the oppressed and repressed and they can't do anything about it because its their own framework that they built and supported. Similar to all the pro war Russians now peeling the 'Z' stickers off their cars at the border as they try to dodge the draft for the war they supported. It's all fine and good when you think you're the one calling the shots until you aren't.

Hitler was installed by pro-business conservatives. They thought they could control him.

DeSantis and Abbott are the same as trump. Trump is not the problem it is the “conservatives” who are the problem.
