Where to seek sanctuary if you are terrified of local progressives?

Mt. Airy is either Howard or Frederick Co. No differences in anything in these places. You are looking for 1955.

Most of Mt. Airy is in Carroll County.

Sorry, that is true, but only a small part. It is home in 3 counties. And life is pretty much the same.

There are plenty of housing opportunities in West Virginia and plenty of people live there and work remotely or even commute to the DC area. You could move to most states in the Midwest and South. I 95 is ready when you are OP.
