I think most women in this country prioritize having control over when they have a baby and with whom BY FAR MORE

I bought gas yesterday in DC for $4.09

It was $2.09/gallon because there was no demand because Trump crashed the economy, people were out of work and no deliveries were being made.

The reason it is high now is because, like Obama and Clinton before him, Biden is once again bailing out a dumpster fire of an economy left by a republican president.

This isn't hard, but the short memories of imbeciles is definitely a challenge for our country.

If people can afford those oversized SUVs then they can afford gas. Time to quit whining.

Not to mention all the people what queue up in McDonalds lines or simply hang out with the motor running and the AC at full blast for the heck of it.

Post the brand name of your nearest gas station and the amount of profit that company posted last quarter.

Maybe stop acting like you are entitled to $2/gallon gas. That's number one.

Number 2: Gas was pretty high in 2007 (under Bush). A friend just posted a FB memory from that time when it was over $4/gal in the NE. It's not just now. Sh-- fluctuates.

Number 3: they are falling. Maybe not as fast as you'd like but this is a worldwide issue in response to the last few difficult years.

Number 4: I'm in 22030 and am able to get it for about $4.00. Further west, in Winchester / Front Royal, it was sub-$4 this week.

Yes, and Bush was blamed for those high gas prices. But guess what? They also went down to $1.07 during his administration. Maybe get your facts straight before spouting off.
DP

Were they $1.07 when he crashed the entire economy?

So wait… you’re claiming Bush “crashed the entire economy,” but Biden hasn’t? You seem confused.

That’s how people like you voted for Hitler.

Keep telling yourself that.

That’s actually the truth. DP.

+1 Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.

DP. People who keep trying to compare Trump to Hitler very obviously don’t know history. You look like utter fools every time you do this.

starting with : Gas is $3.69 in the 23116

Similarly, if you have photos of fully stocked formula shelves share them here

Gasbuddy shows 1 station near 23116 at $3.69, but most are in the $3.90 range. There’s one at $4.55, should I choose that one and say gas in 21136 is $4.55 like you did?

Not the point of this thread, but I only recently discovered the apps like Gasbuddy that let you see nearby gas prices. I use the AAA app which shows the 5 gas stations roughly equidistant from my home, and seems to be quite accurate about the prices. I learned that the station I thought was the cheapest, in fact, isn't always the cheapest.

(And yes I am late to the party.)

I show prices in your area from $4.09 at Costco and $4.25 at a lot of places nearby on Gas Buddy.

Yeah, not sure where the 20164 PP is buying their gas, IAD gas station, maybe, with inflated airport prices? I am in Ashburn (20147) and frequently drive into the Sterling (20164, 20166) zip codes for work, and the highest I've seen in the past week or so is $4.39. Neighborhood station was at $4.29 this morning (they are always on the high end), and the station near my office (20164) was at $4.07.

Um, I’m the Sterling poster who paid $4.69 at the Dranesville Shell on Rt. 7 yesterday. Perhaps you haven’t seen all the gas stations in the area on all of the days of the week.

Before calling others imbeciles, just admit that if Trump was currently president, you’d be screaming in outrage that these high gas prices were his fault. So just quit the usual sanctimony, gaslighting, hypocrisy, and deflection.

Yes, people certainly are. Especially those who blame Republican presidents for everything under the sun, but then excuse Democratic presidents for the same things. Talk about short-memoried imbeciles.
