| I also voted for Franchot. I’m betting Moore and Perez end up splitting the vote and Franchot wins. |
That’s who I voted for as well and what I expect will happen. It’s basically a three-way tie. Did Baker ever endorse? |
|
Do not care
Only voting Blue whole ballot in Nov. There is not one Republican in this country that deserves a vote, not one. Not one spoke up. Not one kept their oath. The Republican party is dead and trying to destroy the US and they will. Any woman who votes for any Republican and has children shame on you. Not to mention you are clearly stupid. |
I’m a registered Democrat who would vote Hogan again 100%. |
Today was a primary. Everyone on my Democratic ballot was, gasp, a Democrat (save the “nonpartisan” school board with anti-CRT trumpers, but that’s a different thread). |
| Moore is going to win the old fashioned way, boots on the ground. Looking forward to new blood in Maryland. |
Looks like you will lose your bet. |
| WHO SI COX? |
The thing is the vote tonight was always going to skew towards the left and progressives. Early voting and mail-in ballots are likely going to be more towards moderates based on trends that have been seen in other Democratic primaries this year It's not out of the question that Fran show makes up ground once those are all calculated. |
Trump-endorsed 🍌🍌🍌 |
| I voted for Franchot today. Was thinking of voting Perez because of the WaPo endorsement and also because he seems like a decent and thoughtful person and because I live in Takoma park too. But given how overwhelmingly lefty the MD state assembly is, plus the MoCo council and MoCo exec (assuming Elrich wins again which is very possible given the power of incumbency)….. we need SOME balance in the state. Franchot is not Hogan, but at least he is a moderate Dem. |
That holds true for the general election not the primaries. The in person votes and the mail in ballots will be the same. |
As am I. I’m also a professional woman with children, but keep thinking that calling us stupid is a winning play, progressives. |
| Hogan easily won both elections, obviously he received plenty of dem and independent votes. Cox is no Hogan. |
+1 I don’t find hate inspiring. Sure, I see hate from Republicans. I also see it in the post above. You don’t get my respect (or my vote) by calling me stupid. - liberal who voted for Hogan |
