Except that you’re “guessing “, then generalizing about people based on your guesses. That’s the real shame here. |
| Who is leading in the polls now? I really don't like Franchot's stance on toll lanes, so will vote for whoever is polling close enough to beat him if he is in the lead. |
+1 Voting for Perez. He is the only one who has come out against Hogans toll lanes. I am not against any expnasion but I am against the current plan. |
If Perez is going to kowtow to Takoma Park NIMBYs and block needed infrastructure that is important for the economic vitality of the state and Montgomery County then he absolutely cannot win under no uncertain terms. |
Polls show 3 way tie. |
I completely agree. Hogan is just rushing this through. There is a lot on the line and we shouldn't be on the hook for a plan that has not been completely vetted just because Hogan wants to use it to advance his presidential aspirations. Franchot did not have the guts to stand up to him and will definitely not get my vote. |

I would love to hear Perez’s plan for the ALB if he’s against the toll lanes. Because the toll lanes finance the construction, which is necessary in any case and also prevent congestion through pricing demand.
Everyone that yells “induced demand” and opposed freeway tolls is a moron. |
This is the thing for me too. I think he should run for the general assembly or a seat in congress first. Get some experience legislating, and let his constituents decide if he's doing a good job representing them. He's got plenty of time to run for governor later, as a more seasoned politician. |
How much experience did Hogan have in politics? It seems to me that life experience far outweighs a lifetime of political experience and it is exactly the kind of experience that Maryland needs. |
You may want to consider the quality of experience as well. Perez is pretty famous for making huge screw ups in every job he is given. |
Hogan learned a lot about politics by growing up as the son of a congressman. |
Hogan had been a two-time congressional candidate and had served four years in Ehrlich's cabinet. He also came from a political family, his father having been PG county executive and a congressman. |
Yeah but ya'll aint say that shit about Beto, Trump or Pete B. |
Uh Beto was a Congressman. Pete B was the successful mayor of a midwestern city. At least they’ve won elected office. Moore |
Absolutely no on franchot. His new campaign “I can solve inflation” means he doesn’t actually understand anything. |
