What are your thoughts on Snoop Dogg

For a complicated reason, another woman and I had to go into his dressing room before a private show (but in a 930 club like venue so not small). We were both early 30s.

He was super nice and appreciative of what we were doing (helping with a problem). His dressing room was smoky and there were lots of snacks and candy around. I don’t remember seeing alcohol but maybe some was there. He was surrounded by what looked to be buddies. No women.

He offered to do a picture with us which we did. No groping, no hitting on us. And then he thanked us during his show, just calling us “two lovely ladies,” who helped him out.

He also practiced for at least an hour before the show.

So I came away with a very positive impression. Took his job seriously. Didn’t have a bunch of half naked women in his dressing room. Likes to smoke weed, though, for sure.

We need more details! What sort of problem? Can you at least give us the vague outline?

DP! Nope! No other details are needed☺️

Thanks OP for the prior post. It was so nice to read. Was and still remain a huge fan of Snoop☺️

I had a massive crush on him when he first came on the scene. That first Vibe magazine cover was fire!

He and Kevin Federline have a similar facial vibe, (when Federline was thin, mind)

Snoop is much, much more appealing than Pete Davidson. Not even in the same league.

Snoop is handsome!

Snoop is Snoop.

Same as he ever was. Can't cancel him because it's all out there and always has been.

Gen X loves him and always will.

Along with:
LL Cool J
Molly Ringwald
John Cryer
Rob Lowe

Any others on the evergreen Gen X list?

Clavin Broadus is his real name. He answers to that name in public as Snoop is a stage name.

I met him way back. Out in Hamptons in Dune Road during happy hour at dockers. He was there by home self. We said hi Calvin he turned around we chatted like 15 minutes. I don’t think many knew him. Was nice. We were joking what no body guards he was laughing out in Hamptons at 5 pm are you kidding me.

Years later in LA I got a ticket to Jimmy Kimnel first week of show and Snoop Dogg was host. Since first week Jimmy just coming off Man Show and Seth Green only other guest and audience not huge they had a bar afterwards for whole audience to go. I went to to him again said Hi reminded him of prior meeting. Don’t know if remembered but he was still friendly.

Don’t know about now but he is a nice guy.

I like him. Smart man. Married to the same woman —the mother of his children for more than 30 years. They just had first vacation in 35 years in Bora Bora per IG. Loved his commentary on the Olympics with Kevin Hart for Peacock. So funny. He looks older than 50. Always smoking a joint. That’s his choice.

Really loves his family too. The real life documentary of them was sweet.

He is still married to his high school sweetheart. Going through that serious fame and kids at such a young age could not have been easy.

Speaking to MTV, Snoop Dogg explained that he initially wanted a divorce from his wife. However, he “went back home” and things changed. He “fell back in love” with Shante and their children, which is a sweet thing for him to admit. He also says that if you hear about a divorce between them, it’s Snoop Dogg’s wife that’ll be the one doing the divorcing, which shows how much he’s changed course. Snoop Dogg said:

“I was trying to get a divorce, but I went back home and I fell back in love with my wife and kids … A lot of times you get cloudy. This music industry is a mother, man, and it’ll take your vision and blur it. But God is good, so I understand that I need my wife and my kids in my life—so I threw the papers away. I don’t want to get a divorce. So if you hear about a divorce, it’ll be my wife divorcing me. It won’t be me divorcing her … And I made a mistake, so I’m trying to get back right.”

Not a Pete Davidson fan here, but I would rate Snoop and Pete the same in the looks department.
But I think that would be an unfair comparison due to the fact that Snoop has twenty years on Pete.
