| He’s definitely commercialized, but he’s commercialized just *Being Snoop*. So, good for him. I have no idea if he’s a nice guy in IRL, but his persona is very appealing. |
LL Cool J does not belong on your "badass" list. |
|
It was funny when he was an Eskimo brother and brother-in-law on The League.
“Family.” |
+1 LL is a lot of things, but he was never “badass”. |

Uh oh, mama said "knock you out". |
| Meh. I think his image, like most celebrity, is well curated. However, I would like to believe that we would have a good time hanging out together. However, the reality is that I would probably think he was a big ol' douche. So, who knows. |
| I want to know how he managed to keep his wife after all these years. They've been together since high school. |
| I met him once, he was adorable. I've loved him since Deep Cover. His Instagram is consistently hilarious. |
One of my favorite pages to follow. |
| I think he has smoked a lot of weed and is melllowwwwww. And I imagine hanging out with him would be very chill. Rap in the 90s/00s was extremely misogynistic and so virtually anyone coming up in that time that wasn't Will Smith has sins on their record, he certainly has a lot and I'm sure like a crotchety grandfather would not be totally PC when you talked to him. But whatever, he seems generally cool. |

I can't help but like him. Yeah, he is probably 100% commercialized and curated but d*mn, he did a good job with the commercialization.
Anyone who can be a bad-a$$ rapper then also host Puppy Bowl/work with Martha Stewart is okay by me. |
| This one is tough for me. I enjoyed good times with his music in college when I was young and dumb. Since having teenage daughters I view him with a different lens and cannot understand how I thought he was so cool. Now, I think I just appreciate his business savvy and ability to stay relevant and marketable for decades. |
I feel the same. I grew up in Long Beach and have been following Snoop since I was in middle school and he was 19 years-old. He is a legit, straight-up member of the Crips. The street gang. He was wearing Crip colors and did the Crip Walk on THE SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW. Do you all remember when he was on trial for MURDER in the 90s? He probably has the best PR in the industry. I have no idea how he gets away with everything he did and still does. Dude is beloved by middle-aged Midwestern white moms while being a member in good standing of The Crips. America is so schizophrenic. |
|
Honestly? I mentally dismissed him DECADES ago as a misogynistic slime ball.
I am genuinely surprised he is still alive. |
