“Straight blue is the only way in 2022”

If everyone voted straight blue, you could pass a law much more liberal than Roe. But hey, don't let a little knowledge get in the way if your outrage.

Perhaps if you'd bothered to pick up a newspaper in the last month you'd have read that we've sent $13 billion to Ukraine and the president has asked for $33 billion more to send.

It's funny how on DCUM if you're not full throat Dem support no matter what they do (or don't do) you're called a troll. The least you can do is have a grasp of current events before calling someone a troll.

I've read their platform. That doesn't seem at all relevant considering they currently have full control and still aren't getting anything done. So again what are they actually going to do it they win in November? The same as what they're doing now?

They can’t get things done because Republicans will not come to the table in good faith. Until we get some new GOP candidates who are interested in a functioning government and compromise, we are stuck. The official platform of the GOP is obstruction and corruption. All they do is lob conspiracy theories and hateful rhetoric.

They all need to go.

This you?: “…the only thing they seem to have accomplished other than infrastructure is giving money to foreigners. Ukraine should receive our help but they shouldn't be the only focus.” Your poor writing makes it sound like we’ve been sending money abroad willy nilly. But which is it? Should Ukraine receive our help or not? - keeping in mind that without Trump’s interference, Russia might not have invaded them. And the money you’re whining about was 6.8 trillion dollars.

And if you want to keep whining about the lack of work on infrastructure, whine no farther than the GOP. They blocked it.

So OP is correct.

I see that you are lacking in reading comprehension as well as not having a firm grasp of recent and historical events.

First, Russia attacked Ukraine and took over the Crimea region in 2014. That was two years before Trump was elected in case your math skills are lacking as well. Russia was always going to continue their attack on Ukraine regardless of what Trump did. He was just a useful idiot.

Second, the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill passed last November with bipartisan support (that means both democrats and republicans voted for it).

Again, I would suggest picking up a newspaper before coming to argue for or against things you clearly don't understand. You and OP both seem lost and ill-informed but trying to argue with people about how to vote.

Exactly. They are obstructionists trying to tear it all down. Traitors.

Roe is still here. Did I miss something?

An illegal leak of confidential notes didn’t change anything. If anything, made it quite unlikely to happen.

They won’t stop trying. Look at all of the work and money they’ve put into it for decades. They’ve bought SCOTUS seats and will never stop trying.

There’s no “I have a small business.” Not if you’re a woman. Ashhat Ross Douthat let the cat out of the bag. You think the GOP is going to let you keep a job, let alone an entire business if a man should have it?

There’s no “I don’t like all this talk about pronouns.” You know who’s been obsessing over it and talking about it like it’s their job? Republicans. You just use someone’s preferred pronouns.

There’s no “the Republicans are tough on defense.” The Republicans are for sale to the highest bidder. Look at poor Khashoggi. Look at how the GOP is the party of Putin (if you’re a right winger you probably don’t believe me, but it’s true. You can look it up).

There’s no “the GOP is tough on crime.” The GOP is tough on Black peoples’ crimes. They didn’t care about any of the high level and dangerous felonies that the GOP engaged in from 2016-2021. If you think the GOP is “tough on crime,” you might want to consider your role in structural racism.

It’s Blue or the end of America.

Wait, what do you mean? Link?

Straight green is the only way in 2022!

Well, Republicans don’t give a shit about the environment, so you’re functionally a Democrat.

If you want:
- no social security
- no medicare
- no unions
- no employee rights
- no consumer rights
- no abortions
- no environmental protection
- tax cuts for billionaires

Just keep voting Republican. Do they have a plan for you! But unfortunately 45% of Americans want this.

Ok, kitten. You know everything and you’re completely right. Not a single note for improvement.

Not PP but I think she’s referring to this triumph of correlation-not-causation:

Unpragmatic and shortsighted.
As much as I support the green agenda and as much as I have been an environmental activist for 30 years, splitting the ticket and voting green against blue will only hand red an assured victory and set the green agenda even farther back.
