OP, you keep repeating the same thing over and over without providing any good argument other than republicans = bad. Let's hear an argument for what democrats will do. Right now they have both houses and the presidency and the only thing they seem to have accomplished other than infrastructure is giving money to foreigners. Ukraine should receive our help but they shouldn't be the only focus. We are in the middle of sky high inflation, gas is $4.28/gallon and I turn on the tv to see Nancy Pelosi shaking hands with Zelenskyy for a photo op.
Let's see some actual movement on issues that impact American citizens in our day to day lives. They should actually have to do something to earn your vote. |
If you don’t understand what we’re talking about it, read along quietly until you do. |
Red all the way.
Blue and the leader, have done a crappy job. |
Uff da. I can’t even imagine writing this all out and thinking that the Republicans are going to be better for Black people than the Democrats. |
The Democrats have only the House, barely the Senate and Biden has inherited Trump’s mess. What money have the Democrats given abroad? What country on the planet isn’t facing sky high inflation? If you want movement, blame the GOP (including Manchin and Sinema) who refuse to do anything. I actually suspect that you’re just a right wing troll because most Democrats can look at everything the GOP has blocked and understand why so little movement has been made. The GOP just tried to overthrow the government not two years ago and just now their religious tribunal has decided that women aren’t people because we haven’t always had rights. If you can’t be bothered to go look at the Democrats’ platform - i.e. what they would accomplish if the opposition wasn’t a bag of greasy misogynist treasonists - maybe just don’t vote, right winger. |
Thank you! I honestly didn’t have the emotional energy to respond. It’s like that PP isn’t living in reality. God help us all if people don’t see what’s at stake. Maybe she is just a troll….. [OP] |
Forever green since 2018 |
So… a reliable Republican voter. |
Oh, it’s absolutely a troll. In fact I would guess that there’s been a dozen of us who have posted that we understand the choice in November is for the Democrats and America or for the GOP and fascism, theocracy and corruption with a soupçon of whatever the GOP’s home office in Moscow wants (have you seen Steve Schmidt’s barn burner of a thread about McCain’s connections to Russia?), and I would further guess that the person who keeps posting absolute nonsense like the nested “The Democrats haven’t done enough!” and “inflation is the only thing that matters!” and “vote green!” is all one person. |
Aren't women more prolife then men?
A quick Google glance seems to confirm this. It's obviously an important issue to OP but for many women it is not. |
You think they’re going to stop with abortion? |
"What money have the Democrats given abroad?"
Perhaps if you'd bothered to pick up a newspaper in the last month you'd have read that we've sent $13 billion to Ukraine and the president has asked for $33 billion more to send. It's funny how on DCUM if you're not full throat Dem support no matter what they do (or don't do) you're called a troll. The least you can do is have a grasp of current events before calling someone a troll. I've read their platform. That doesn't seem at all relevant considering they currently have full control and still aren't getting anything done. So again what are they actually going to do it they win in November? The same as what they're doing now? |
Absolutely not. They won't be satisfied until they've not only overturned Roe V. Wade, abut also overturned the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all subsequent related legislation, recriminalized homosexuality, erased the existence of trans people from the public eye, removed women from the workplace (except for teaching, secretarial positions and, for Blacks and Asians, domestic service), reinstated Black and Brown men to their "rightful" place in the natural order of things (i.e.: manual labor), and returned American Capitalism to the economic Darwinism, exploitation and environmental rape of the Gilded Era. |
