Male masseuse offered me a ‘sensual massage’ towards the end of our session. What the heck is that?

If a man did that to me I’d marry him on the spot, have at least a dozen of his babies, and never look at another man again.

I know right? That’s way better than Outlander.

Dang.

Although possible offscreen, I doubt these have happy endings. My guess is this is what is considered a sensual massage this day in age.

One of the guys IG tags is Pu**y is mine." But it's not sexual.

You do realize this was a very popular song by Miguel, right?

If this is real, and not a cheap erotic thrill-seeking post that’s a sex worker - not a massage therapist. Hand jobs are illegal (even for women). No matter your enjoyment of it, that service is detrimental to non sex workers that go through all the legal hoops to be licensed massage therapists. It puts us in danger or leaves door open for harassment with a client expects illegal sexual finishes or contact during a massage. It’s a huge insult to our profession to be lumped with a massage parlor mindset. This dynamic is how massage therapists get killed when doing hotel outcalls, stalked by lonely clients, deflecting unwanted advances in our offices. You want an escort not a massage therapist.

Also in the US, masseuse/masseur is always code/ slur for sex work.

Chill. Out. We’re talking about *male* massage therapists who are offering the occasional happy ending options to *female* clients. These aren’t trafficking victims, Hon. There’re just not. And no woman is stalking them, either. Or murdering them. Or anything else. These are guys who are good at what they do and are giving select clients a little extra in a totally consensual transactional arrangement - for a substantial gratuity.

Your apples to hammers comparison with what they’re doing and what *female* massage therapists serving *male* clients with regards to sex work is totally obtuse. It’s just pointless moralizing and grandstanding.

Classic sexism. First, stop addressing anyone as “hon.” Second, swapping genders in this scenario means nothing unless you are sexist.

Wow. F off. I’m a licensed massage therapist and I have to get fingerprinted and criminal background checks because of people like this. I work in a therapeutic setting and still have guys ask for hand jobs, special arrangements, and was followed once. Some jerk finished himself off on my table once and I had to clean that up to. This was after a trigger point massage, which is not sensual unless you’re a masochist.

Your mindset is disgusting.

That’s the thing - he wasn’t attractive and I’m still fairly certain he’s gay.

I *think* I know the place/massage therapist you’re referring to!!!! He’s Filipino, right? Yes - he’s gay. And yes, you should’ve taken him up on it! Because he is absolutely gifted

And no, I’m NOT naming the place or him, because I LIKE him!

NP,

If you can share — what exactly did he do for the “massage”?

I’m the PP you quoted:

Without being too graphic, the best part about it was the slow, teasing build-up to it. After he asked me, and implied what it meant, he kept on with the regular massage for another ten minutes (he’s very good, btw). At this point I actually started wondering what was even going happen because nothing was different. I was just starting to get impatient when he started to lighten his touch to simply tracing his fingers around on me, gradually getting closer and closer. Another five minutes of this and I was practically quivering as he eventually zeroed in. And by that time I was so worked up with the anticipation/forbidden-fruit aspect of it all that I was finished after he only spent about a minute on me. It was very intense, I was flushed and sweaty and almost spasmodic. I’ve tried to teach my H how to do it with the long drawn out denial and slow build up, but he’s too impatient. Sigh. So I go back every couple months. Subsequent times have never been as hot as that first time, but that was mostly due to the novelty/excitement of it. I know what he’s going to do now, but it’s still really good. I’m a sucker for delayed gratification! I tip him very well. He earns it. And it’s so funny to me that a gay man can be so much better at pleasuring a woman than any guy I’ve ever been with.

I would run over old ladies and puppies to get to a place like this. I need to be touched so bad it hurts.

NP. To the massage therapist above, I'm on your side here. I have a relative who has studied extensively to be a massage therapist, worked for years to build a business, worked devotedly to keep up the required continuing education credits, etc. It's sickening that people here don't, or won't, see how things like "sensual massage" and "happy endings" end up creating expectations among a lot of jerk men, expectations which denigrate and, yes, can actually endanger real, trained, massage therapists.

Thank you. It’s appreciated. In my practice it’s been a small population of people that have been this way, but it’s enough that the casual chat about sec services on massage grates. It’s not a fantasy for me. I hope your family member doesn’t have to deal with it in life as much either. I asked the entire post be removed, but see the value too in naming the issue rather than entertaining the men posing as women here. Just hire an escort already or move for legal sex work so it can be separated from massage.

+1. I'm still caught up on it being sex work without gloves. Gross. Better hope you are the first customer of the day I guess.

I got a sensual massage at a 5-ster hotel in Buenos Aires by one of the most gorgeous men I have aver seen. I was offered it at the end of the regular 60-minute massage. I said yes and it was the best 15 minutes of my life.

I would not trust any place that was not like my 5-star hotel.

+2 super unsanitary

Plus I feel like the responses on this thread would be different if the massage therapist was an immigrant woman offering services to men … we’d rightfully be talking about sex trafficking. How do we know this guy isn’t being trafficked?

Ooo, I think I will book a trip to Buenos Aires...
