as in it's been bastardized, politicized and demonized into a caricature of what it used to mean when conscious POC used to use it. At this point, it's as archaic as "on fleek" or "jive turkey" or some other outdated jargon that made it's way out of the originating culture and into mainstream nonsense press

There were serious issues in the community and with some students in the past. I applaud the new hos for trying to change the school for the better. It seems to be much more diverse and inclusive than it was 5-10 years ago.

This exact sentiment (past Landon had issues, new head is charting new course) shows up in too many posts on these forums not to have initiated at Landon. A better question for these forums might be, "Is Landon the only school with an active DCUM presence?"

We are not at Landon and while not a Trump R Im not sure I would agree that a senior, who has been at the school for 3 years and assuming without incident, gets cut from a team unless there is something in the policy already regarding a tattoo.
