The districts are a restriction on where the candidate lives, not who votes for them, so it doesn't really matter unless you're planning on running, but the map is there: https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/Elections/Resources/Files/pdfs/maps/UpdateYear/Boardofed032318.pdf |

It's kindof hard to find the list of candidates on the Montgomery County Board of Elections website. The Board of Education candidates are listed all the way at the bottom of here:
https://elections.maryland.gov/elections/2022/primary_candidates/gen_cand_lists_2022_1_by_county_16.html Here's the list. Everyone in the county can vote for every seat, even if you don't live in that district: Board of Education At Large Michael Fryar Filed Regular -03/09/2022 Website anewdawn4boe.com J. I should note, only races with 3 or more candidates will be in the primary this July. So far only the At-Large Seat, and District 5 will having primary voting in July. Voters can select 2 candidates in the primary for each seat. The 2 winners from each primary will go on to the November election. |
Yang and Wolf - YES |
I don't think that's right. Each voter can only vote for one candidate in each race in the primary. Then the top two vote-getters advance to the general election. |
UGHHHH…. so it’s completely possible that the choice we’ll have in November is for a complete whacko or an incumbent. Wonderful. Let’s hope the sane alternatives to the incumbents make it through. |
MCEA has now also endorsed Grace Rivera-Oven in District 1 and Valerie Coll in District 5. |
Wolff? NO WAY!!!!! Are you kidding??? She's the FIRST one that has to go!!!! Nothing will change as long as she's head of the board as President. Spending million covid money on non-covid pet projects? The whole covid fiasco calling the National Guard to bus kids and getting 9% of the student body and 2100+ teachers and staff infected because you didn't have a game plan? Rubber stamping McKnight - and why do you think that McKnight is all about discrimination surveys? It's all smoke to cover up that MCPS had so many outstanding Department of Education OCR open investigations this summer that MCPS ranked in the top 20 nationwide. That's hard to do since there are about 13,800 public school districts in the U.S.!!! You want more of that???? I wouldn't be surprised if you're Wolff herself writing this, since this could all hit the press if she's replaced. |

1 - Rivera-Oven
3 - Yang 5 - Coll AAnd I hope MCEA does go with Fryar for At Large? |
They didn't endorse him last time he ran, so I doubt they would now. |
| I will vote for anyone who is not Silvestre |
Yang Wolfe Sylvestre Are they the likely winners. |
Sorry. Rivera-Oven, Yang, Coll, Fryar. We need a clean slate and flush the corruption out. |
How little faith in MoCo voters you have. Particularly over Wolff. |
Wolff is out. She didn’t get mcea nod. Bye bye |
