loved it. And it got picked up for season 3! woohoo. Feels like a real victory for this type of show.
The last ep of season 2 was so great. Leaked tears through much of it. |
| The scene where Fred and Sam had ice cream at Call Hall (“straight from udder to dish”) made me want university creamery ice cream. UMd doesn’t have it anymore (their ice cream is made by Food Services, though the reviews say it’s great). Closest school that has it is UDel. We were heading up to NY the next day, so we stopped at their creamery in Newark DE. It was delicious, and was maybe a little taste of being in the world of the show. |
| everyone needs a Joel in their lives. |
| Joel is great but I think I'm a tiny bit in love with Fred Rococo. |
| I love this show SO much!!! I love all of the characters. |
I am more than a little in love with Fred Rococo! He is a REVELATION of a character. Funny, wry, open, sweet, smart, compassionate but calling things as they are, meeting his friends where they are but also pushing them to push themselves, too. I just love him. |
During season one, I think one of Professor Doctor Fred Rococo’s line is…..“Women are woefully underrepresented in the agricultural sciences.” |
| This show is so so good! |
Fred is great but his wife is kind of terrible |
| Is there any other show with so many ugly annoying characters? |
| I was so moved by the Sam-Iceland go for a walk scene. And Joel sobbing. I think it ranks as one of my fave tv episodes ever. |
I think they come off as very human. |
Seriously. Is there any other world with so many ugly, annoying characters? That show reflects the world I live in. Glad not to have fillers and injections and plastic surgery among the people I hang with. Natural imperfections? I'm all for them. |
| This really is a great show! Very authentic to challenges and how to get through them |
I know, right! |
