I am watching it. I am enjoying it.
It makes me want to move to Kansas. The pace of life and the ambiance of the show seem so lovely. There were some narrative continuity problems for me. I know Fred met her dad and his students were going to help him on the farm. But then suddenly Fred and the dad are close and in correspondence, and Fred is like "I heard about MJ, I'm so sorry." But then the sister had never heard of Fred before. Seemed a little weird. |

*****Spoiler alert*****
—- —— —— Sadly, the actor who played the dad died. Not sure how the show is going to handle it but that may explain the continuity issue. |
| This is my feel good show! |
He is away on a boat with his brother. This is aside from the continuity issue. |
| I love this show. I’m hoping Sam slays with her song at the wedding. I like how her sister is more relatable this season. |
Her sister is loads of fun this season I am rooting for Jeff and St Louis sushi guy I TOTALLY feel you, pp who said the show makes you want to move to Kansas. I want to go be a soil science student and become best friends with Fred. Yah the thing with Fred and the dad - I don't think they'd just met. Wasn't Fred doing a project on the dad's farm? It seems hard to imagine in such a small town they wouldn't have already known each other. But I did also find it a little off that the dad was supposedly writing to Fred. I just love this show, though, and I'm there for whatever they will give me. Even a gross toilet phone scene. |
OMG that was so foul! |

Thanks, OP! I hadn’t heard of it and started it from the beginning. 10 min into it, one of my teens snuggled up
to me and we watched a few episodes together. We love it. |
| I just started season 2 and this show is hilarious. I have not read through the posts although I happened to see something about being sad. |
| Loved it and so did my 20 year old daughter. So glad to see a big woman who never obsesses about her size. So glad to see all different kinds of people just living their lives and loving and screwing up and forgiving and moving forward together. It is marvelous! |
| Season 1 was amazing. We stopped season 2 early on. Terrible. |
I'm liking it too. Life and Beth with Amy Schumer has a similar feel - and Amy and Bridgette are very good friends IRL. What I like about both shows is they show normal people - like not insanely attractive people who you just know wouldn't be living in small towns but in fact would have moved to Hollywood and probably been successful, if not in acting, at least at something like PR. |
What was so terrible about it? |
|
I like it. Definite Schitt's Creek vibes.

| THanks for the reminder that I need to catch up on this latest season. Its a sweet show and captures a lot about small town life and how friends talk when they hang out together. |
