Good. 92% of students there and 91% of employees have already been vaccinated. Same at UVA, etc. |
That's exactly what the PP just said.
|
Why? That's moronic. "University leaders say the practical impact, in the short term, will be minimal because the vast majority of students are already vaccinated." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/virginia-s-public-universities-drop-coronavirus-vaccine-mandates-after-attorney-general-s-opinion/ar-AATl7zj?ocid=uxbndlbing |
But that's not 110%. Surely everyone could vaccinate just a little harder. |
PP said that about covid. Its true about any innoculation a university wants. His view seems to be that as soon as the legislature wants something, it means that's all that can be done. But if the legislature had said nothing, then all would be ok. |
You're not making any sense. Just let it go. |
An Omicron-specific booster is going to be needed by everyone in the fall or these colleges are going to have huge Covid outbreaks again. Glad my kid is graduating - fall 2020 at JMU was a disaster. |
Meh. Most fully vaccinated and boosted people have had Omicron already. You're comparing apples to oranges. |
| My DC is currently at a university in the UK and covid is running rampant through her dorm. Most are vaccinated, few are bolstered. |
| Bolstered, not bolstered. |
Viral meningitis is not prevented by vaccine. |
Ken is a great guy and a very effective politician. |
This comment didn’t really survive well. |
Great guy? Entirely possible. Effective politician? Nope. |
| Why? And what next, is he also going to strike down Virginia's other school vaccination requirements? https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacode/title22.1/chapter14/section22.1-271.2/ |
