I also notice a lot of suspect threads in jan & Feb each year, and I often think they are people screwing with applicants, perhaps trying to scare people away from where they want their kid to get in?

My DC’s school does post the grades and averages, but I’ll be damned if I reconcile the individual scores to the average. All the classes weigh homework, class work, quizzes, exams and papers differently, and don’t publish the weighting as far as I can tell.

Are you kidding me? Not only do they not post grades, they don’t give you a syllabus and indicates grading weights?

SSSAS hasn't updated its physical plant or sports facilities in years, and this grading issue is just the icing on the cage.

Construction on the new any starts this year! I agree, the current facilities are drab.
