Woodward High School Capital Project: To address the urgent space needs at Walter Johnson High School and the Downcounty Consortium high schools, an FY 2021 appropriation for construction was approved to reopen the school. The Board of Education approved that Charles W. Woodward High School be used as a holding school, starting in August 2023. for Northwood High School for two years. Northwood High School will return to its facility in August 2025. An FY 2023 appropriation is recommended for construction cost increases and the balance of construction funds. The scheduled completion date for the reopening of Charles W. Woodward High School is August 2025. |
+! that commute to Tysons can be very grueling. commutes are unpredictable: accidents are frequent and can set you back over an hour. unless you also need to be in Maryland a lot, i'd definitely lean towards FCPS. maybe a townhouse or condo? |

Look in the Twinbrook cluster in Rockville 20851. You can get a small house for under $500K walkable to Metro and tons of other amenities. Not terrible for commute, either. Twinbrook ES doesn’t get much love here but your kids are past it and Julius West MS and Richard Montgomery HS are well-regarded. |
