Picture of loose pet food in dining room bench?

Idk, I think this is really nicely done. We lived in Fairlington a billion years ago and I think what the owner did with the kitchen is really smart.

I love the choices of color and finishings.

Can anyone tell the brand of the fridge?

I think it's coffee beans. Maybe they use it as a deodorizer?

It's a Liebherr. They are very popular for small spaces because they are tall and narrow, but have the same capacity as the squat American fridges.

I am guessing the owner or owners were or are in the military and served in both Germany (where they probably had a Liebherr fridge) and in the Middle East where they acquired a nice collection of rugs.

This is round kibble, not coffee beans!

But let's play- coffee beans are supposed to be kept in air tight containers or they go stale. Also, people fart on that bench. You're ok with drinking coffee beans under the bench?

For the poster who asked about the living room rug: they have other rugs scattered through the house that look authentic. I agree with the other poster who thought they may have bought them in the Middle East. Although, I have found some good rugs here at estate sales in neighborhoods where military and state department people lived.

Thanks for the rug insight. I will start to scour estate sales.

I can’t believe you can get a whole house for this price. I’m in LA and in a shithole condo in gang territory in the valley, for $650!

Does this person not cook? Where are the counters???

Definitely not coffee beans, they almost look like acorns! But it is probably dog food.

Go to sales in the areas off Janney's Lane and Seminary Road as well as Old Town. In Arlington go to the Arlington Ridge neighborhood above Crystal City. I found wonderful rugs in those areas.

I am so happy people appreciate these rugs. They fell out of favor but they are beautiful and add so much to a room.

Is anyone else wondering about the saddle over the railing?
Anonymous
I don’t know what that is, but I’ve lived in Fairlington and been in MANY houses there, and this is a stunning remodel! Also, we never had roaches in Fairlington, but definitely had mice…

A saddle on the railing, too.
