William and Mary. Kid is just in love with the campus, its history and traditions, and just how nice and supportive everyone seems. She has found her people.

The school does a great job conveying a sense of belonging. Work is challenging but not overwhelming and I get a sense she will grow intellectually and emotionally there.

University of South Carolina. DC adores it.

I wasn't sold because I'm more of a prestige seeker than DC is, and DC got into much better schools (UMD, Michigan) but the merit aid beat out the others, and time has proven DC made the right choice academically, career-wise, and financially.

Dartmouth and Middlebury for winter sports.

Smartest, kindest, funniest colleague I ever had was an Elon grad - also gay and active in LGBTQ org. Congrats to your DS and GL with med school!

there’s quite a surprising number of queer kids at elon

This is an odd one but NC A&T

It’s a nice diverse crowd with a decent engineering program

It's a great school for white people. Zero racial diversity.

I love W&M.
My kid is a junior this year and hoping for this experience too.

Denison. Fantastic experience.

Elon- it's a nice option for those wanting the feel of a SLAC that has nicely evolved into a mid-sized university.
