| UCLA. DD loves everything about it! She’s a freshman and so happy there. |
Can you tell me more about Skidmore? Still thinking about putting in an application there but never got to visit due to covid. |
+1 Has everything! |
Congrats! |

Go Heels! |
| It’s definitely not for most people but my kid was built for St. John’s College. It totally checked all their boxes during the search process and they are thriving there now. It took me some time to be comfortable with all of the quirks of the school but now I can’t imagine them doing this well anywhere else. |
Visited over Labor Day weekend. Charmed by Saratoga - great town for college students. The campus is convenient to Saratoga. Did not know that it was moving in day for frosh when we arrived, so kinda easy to blend in and DCs actually saw a few older classmates who were now students @ Skidmore. The campus had nearly a camp feel to it - very green, buildings nearby but not crowded, lovely quad off the student center. There are sports teams, but the arts, comedy, media appear to have a vibrant role at the school. DC likes the outdoors and was psyched to see an outdoor gear store in downtown Saratoga. GL to your DC! |
I have one at Lehigh and one at Elon. Both fell in love with their school, applied ED, and are having the times of their lives. |
Thank you! |

JMU.
Really loves the classes, professors, clubs, UREC, and going to Football and Basketball games. Excellent first semester (grades came yesterday On track to getting into a competitive program. And our kid loves the campus spirit and the city.
Students are really friendly and food is great. Pretty smooth transition. |
It’s a sexy one |
| Lots of Pitt bashing here, but my child loves Pittsburgh, has surprised themselves with a wide range of classes and new interests, made lifelong friends from all over the country, and has really been enjoying themself. And we (parents) like the merit scholarship that means our child will have plenty of funds left in their 529 to go to grad school |
| I know Tulane is looked down upon on this site, but it has been an amazing experience for my DC. DC loves it. Friendly and happy students, interesting and challenging classes, and a fun city to explore. |
