Everyone is going to get COVID. Everyone (if they haven't already had it; estimates are 50% of people already have)! You are wanting Zero COVID, including in schools - neither of them will ever happen.
COVID for vaccinated people or unvaccinated kids is a cold. We don't shut down schools over colds or test everyone for other viruses.
Hopefully Youngkin ends quarantines for close contacts.
Vaccinated or not, everyone is likely to get COVID-19 at some point, many experts say

People keep posting this stupid argument.
It still sucks to get covid. On top of having to quarantine, many adults have really yucky flu like symptoms for a solid two weeks. "Mild" covid in clinical trial terms is covid that doesn't result in a trip to the hospital, it doesn't mean just mild cold symptoms. You may very well feel like death warmed over.
And while everyone may eventually get covid, everyone is not going to get every variant. It's worth trying to stay healthy to catch it fewer times.
Getting it once doesn't mean you won't catch the next variant 6-12 months later and be sick all over again.
