LCPS sexual assualt - who is held accountable?

Boys in skirts: Muslim lunghis and Floridian boys protesting prohibited shorts in the swelter so they showed up in miniskirts. Some Scotch-Irish dudes who dress VERY WELL with a tuxedo with kilt bottom of their plaid. Powerpuff football players, goth kids, and shakespearian actors/drama productions. Doesn't faze me in the slightest.

I am pro-trans but anti-rape. The boy confessed and there was a confirmed rape kit. ALL attending students at both Stone Bridge and Broad Run should have been notified. Is there a gofundme to help Scott Smith? Domestic terrorist-for real?

Yes there is a go fund me and it’s already reached it’s goal. Love all the supportive comments from donors. What happened to that poor girl and her father is inexcusable and I hope everyone responsible gets sued into oblivion.

So, let’s get this straight.

Boy rapes girl in girls bathroom.
School hushes it up because they’re trying to pass their trans “use the bathroom of your choice” policy at the SB and think this will hurt their cause.
Girl’s dad shows up at the SB to tell about his daughter being raped by a boy in the girl’s bathroom.
Prosecutor, who thinks the local trans bathroom rule is a front of a national fight, tries to send the dad to jail. Despite clearly knowing the rape he’s talking about actually happened.

Am I missing anything?

Yes there is a GoFundMe.

Thank you for believing the victim. It is a scary place in Loudoun right now for parents what with Buta in charge.

Daily Mail has picked up the story, too.

There is no doubt in my mind that the school system denied it happened, and did not want anyone to know.

There has been instances of blatant physical assault (not sexual, that I know of) at FCPS, on camera, and they all but told the police to stay out of it. A few years prior, the same HS had (3) suicides, that were promptly swept under the rug "Nope, that sort of thing doesn't happen here!" should be their motto. It is sickening.

These schools do not want the bad publicity. Bottom line.

These parents, and any parents at the high schools, need to speak up - and not just the guilty ones.

I don't think many parents could blame the victim's dad - he may not have been right in how he handled it, but he wasn't wrong.

They have called us domestic terrorists and threatened us with the FBI. You need to speak up too -- they might get tired of attacking rape victims' parents and who knows who will be next?

Is any documentation required? (In other words, are there administrative records that might verify or contradict the girl's father's claim that the attacker was using the girls' bathroom under the transgender policies?) And yes, I understand that these records are likely confidential, but my question is whether they even exist.

Regardless, assault is assault and it is very disappointing (and probably quite common) that offenders are just shuffled off to another school. At least they didn't tell the girl SHE had to move to another school if she felt unsafe.

Those who (and really loud for the back) CONSTANTLY identify as the other gender. You can’t throw on a skirt and use the girls bathroom. Also, this kid attempted to rape another girl in a classroom. It’s NOT about the skirt or the bathroom Tucker fans, he did this not in a skirt in a classroom. Focus on the rape not where he was taking a piss.

Plus the shuffling of the accused rapist to a neighboring LCPS high school. Just like the Catholic priests who floated and continued to abuse children.

Because the boy was wearing a skirt he could easily walk into the girl’s bathroom without anyone stopping or questioning him. This is the type of situation people have been worried about with these bathroom policies. Like a previous poster said, it removes a layer of protection for girls.

Nope. It happened between classes he didn’t go to the bathroom in the skirt and decide to just rape someone. He was searching this specific girl.

Also, how do you explain the classroom? A rapist is a rapist.

I shared my thoughts in one of the deleted threads. Allowing boys to use the girls bathroom removes a layer of protection for girls. It means a boy can walk into the girls room and not get called out by his peers or stopped by a teacher. It means a girl will feel like she can’t just turn around and walk out because that would be considered “transphobic”. She is left vulnerable by policies that requires schools to allow students to use the restroom of their choice. Originally transgender students were offered private bathrooms but lawsuits were filed to let them into their choice instead. And now a girl has been raped in one. This isn’t okay.

Identify the person however you'd like, the point here is that the LCPS and the prosecutor covered this up, regardless of the person's orientation, precisely because it would go against their agenda and give credence to the parents who were against the new bathroom policy.

If a rapist is a rapist why was it covered up?

Why? What do you call a boy who wears a skirt and chooses to use the girls bathroom?

Well, I call a trans girl who uses the girls bathroom a girl.

I call a boy who wears a skirt (which hasn't been confirmed yet via the police report) and rapes girls a rapist.

I'm sure you can find different labels, but you can be pro trans and anti rape. I know it's a lot for your little brain to handle.

Why can’t you discuss this without resorting to name-calling?

Honestly? Because living in Loudoun I see so many of you on our Facebook posts and I'm sick of it. Some of us actually know the families and it's pretty shitty for folks to weigh in because Tucker Carlson told them too.

Is it that hard to believe that non-Fox-watching, middle-of-the-road people have concerns about this?

+1 I'm a Democrat. I'm also a rape survivor. I think it's dangerous to make it normal for biological men to just walk into vulnerable places like women's bathrooms and locker rooms unquestioned.

Not any more. Now schools utilize ‘restorative justice’.

Kids learn early and quickly that they can get away with pretty much any kind of terrible behavior.

I’m the MCPS parent from up thread.

This is pretty much almost exactly how things panned out in MCPS with the Rockville case. Crazy.
