Christmas card quandry

I have several inlaws who aren't religious at all, and are offended by religious references. Some others are devout Catholic. I can't please either group with one Christmas card - even Merry Christmas is offensive to the former group, and the Catholic ones get snippy if it's not a religious sentiment. I'm swamped with work and a TDY spouse right now, and want to sit down and get Shutterfly done in an hour. Is there a happy medium easy solution to this?

(I myself am Protestant and uncomfortable with purely secular cards, but I'll do them in a pinch)

What about a card that says "Peace on Earth?" Who can argue with that? I saw some pretty ones on the Rifle Paper Co website today.

Oh this is easy. Lots of designs are just "wishing you love" or "comfort and joy" or "seasons greetings"

Ugh. OP, I'm right there with you, and sometimes my husband joins in on the tirades. We used to do a general holiday message up front with a Merry Christmas on the back. I stopped sending cards for a few years, so sick of it all, but I'm thinking of getting back into it this year with something like "Peace".

Generic non-religious message in print. Then write a handwritten note on the cards to the religious people.

Big glass of wine and then select whatever message fits best for you and your family. If someone complains, say "I'm sorry you feel that way. I sincerely only meant to send our family's love to you." Don't look back. Life is too short for this bs.
