Bidenomics working!!!

Today’s inflation print is all about real estate prices. Grocery prices are only up 0.1% month over month. What’s the Republican solution to control real estate prices?

The dems have provided through legislation, grants for affordable housing construction. There are also new incentives proposed for first time home buyers. the GOP opposed the measures.

Maybe the poster wants more regulation to force people to lower their house prices?

What is the GOP solution? I have only heard trump talking about more tarriffs. How does that help inflation?

Over half of the inflation gains came from real estate (as PP noted) AND energy as gas is approaching 4 per galloon. When is the SPR going to be replaced?

Here is the GOP solution

While CPI inflation is at 3.5%, inflation is much higher in many basic necessities:

1. Car Insurance Inflation: 22.2%
2. Transportation Inflation: 10.7%
3. Car Repair Inflation: 8.2%
4. Hospital Services Inflation: 7.5%
5. Homeowner Inflation: 5.9%
6. Rent Inflation: 5.7%
7. Electricity Inflation: 5.0%
8. Food Away From Home Inflation: 4.2%

Both Core CPI and headline CPI came in hotter than expectations. This is FOURTH straight month with both readings being hotter than expected.

We now have all major inflation metrics back on the rise and oil prices are nearly $90.

Affordability is still getting worse... FOUR MORE YEARS!

Or better yet, what is the House GOP doing to address this? Renaming Dulles? Using Russian disinformation for dishonest impeachment inquiries? Please enlighten us what the GOP is planning other than retribution, banning abortion, putting minorities and LGBTQs "back in their place", and keeping plutocrats taxes low.

I laughed this morning when one of the CNBC interviewees talked about how 3.5% inflation isn't bad and implied people should just eat it. I was happy to hear Becky refute her BS.

This sort of elite attitude is how countries fall. Oh, inflation twice the rate of the last few decades is just fine.

They are very much against any zoning reform or affordable housing programs that might lower the cost of housing.

Tariffs. It's the only thing he talks about. Of course, he doesn't understand tariffs and will simultaneously kill the stock market and raise inflation even more.
