Vote for hate on Nov 8
Plead with everyone for "kindness and love" on Nov 9. Yeah, I used that all up on my vote yesterday. I have no kindness to extend you because your feelings are hurt now that people are making you own the choice you made. You voted for a racist, xenophobic, misogynistic megalomaniac and that makes you look bad. So if people are calling you out for that- Eat it up, baby. Eat it up. |

One of my friends - a young Jewish Republican from an UMC background - is now trying to explain her vote for Trump and appealing for everyone to "come together" in peace on her Facebook page.
And yet, we have Trump supporters posting online about how: "I will gloat. I did not support Trump to bring America together. I supported Trump to make America great again. And we all know what that means." My friend is too dense to realize that she is going to be one of the first against the wall when this mob comes for her. She thinks her wealth and privilege will insulate her. She's dead wrong. |
Ironic. Here you are hating on the "haters". |
OP, the Republicans are fighting your fire with their fire. Preemptively. To give you an idea of how you come off to the rest of the world
|
Of course I'm hating people who are fueled by hate. They're despicable. |

WE didn't vote for hate and we don't hate. I know you believe that but I implore you to try to listen and stop insisting that we hate. We don't. We just think that some of the priorities of the current administration and Clinton's plans were not our priorities. It isn't that Trump supporters hate immigrants or muslims. That IS NOT true. But we do think that some changes should be made. We do not want harm to come to Syrians or believe that people in Mexico and points south should starve. But we think that here in America we have lots of people (of all colors, religions, ages, genders) who are not having a great time. Their wages are low or they don't have jobs. Health care was bad enough and frankly it has gotten worse, not better. So we think that some of these problems here need some real attention before we can go help others. It is like letting your kids starve while donating to the homeless. No one does that but that is effectively what the Obama/Clinton policies were proposing and insisting upon. And if you disagreed, you were a racist or a bigot. That doesn't make sense. Wanting a job for yourself instead of an immigrant isn't racist. It is self-preservation.
I also want to say that many many of us who voted for Trump know he said things that are terrible. If I could take his policies and have someone else say them, I would have preferred that. But the RNC wouldn't let anyone else say the things he did. He could do it because he paid his own way. He rebuffed the Republican establishment as well as the media establishment (Fox, CNN, ABC, CNN you name it). IF he had needed RNC funds or christian coalition funds, he wouldn't have been about to take the positions he did. So yes, I wish he had a cleaner, kinder mouth. Yes I really do. But that brings me to my final point. Hillary Clinton was a deeply and fundamentally flawed candidate. She is not particularly likable. The main things she has in her favor are her intelligence and her experience. And both of those attributes make her behavior with regard to the emails and the Clinton foundation completely unacceptable. Since she is very smart, it leaves people with the conclusion that she is corrupt. Many democrats and liberals seemed able to turn a blind eye to those negatives. But exit polls showed that many people found both candidates lacked the character to be president. Among those people, about %70 broke for trump. So for me, that is validation that not only was she too corrupt but also that her message didn't resonant. Americans are generous people and proud of our country and yet people who just want to earn good living and be able to save were told they were bigots and racists if they didn't embrace unfettered open borders and an influx of refugees. The chattering class (among which you are) all nodded with one another about how ridiculous Trump was and how awful his supporters were and that just drove us underground. We didn't talk about our views with friends or work or on Facebook. We just kept quiet because we didn't want to be called hurtful names and we didn't want to end friendships. I think the lesson for democrats is that by constantly berating the views of others, they have become the closed minded hate mongers they purport to hate. They hate trump. They hate his supports. They are "afraid" of the racists and bigots. Then they turn around and pander to the hispanic vote and black vote and slice and dice Americans by race and gender and education level. It is horrible balkanization and it didn't work. Stop talking about being open minded and start acting it. Stop calling people racists and ask the what policies Trump espouses that they support. When asked why you support Obama or Clinton, stop telling us that Trump is a racist. Start actually explaining why millions of additional unskilled labor is needed in a country with tons of unemployment. Why is Obamacare better when premiums are through the roof. Why is "free trade" better when China dumps its stuff on our market but does't buy from us. Why? |
Yes. And those people are supporters along side with the deplorables. |
| I posted something very similar on my fb because it's really hurtful to be called the names the "losers" are throwing out. I don't call HRC supporters immoral baby-killers because I respect that not all HRC supporters are ok with her lies or would themselves have an abortion. So, I expect you to respect that I really can't stand the man, Trump, that made fun of the disabled and only voted for him based on certain policies. |
Yet you voted for an unabashed racist. There were other candidates with views like you claim to have that are not racists. You chose to align yourself with a racist. Choices matter and actions have consequences. If you didn't want to be thought of as a racist, why did you vote for one? |
Not only a racist, but a man who has sexually assaulted/raped numerous women. They voted for a rapist. HOW DOES SOMEONE EXCUSE THAT? |
I do not respect it. I'm not calling names about anyone but I'm not showering love and light on you because you chose to vote for this man. You voted FOR HIM so you get the ire you deserve, frankly. I'm not pussyfooting around people who want to marginalized whole groups of people in this country and then be patted on the ass for it. |
I would have an abortion if the situation merited it, and I don't care what you say about it. Just like you shouldn't care about being called a racist if that is the behavior you espouse. Own it. |
I didn't ask for a pat on the ass. I asked you not to call me an effing racist dumbass. If you're not calling me that, then we're good. I don't deserve any ire for having my legit reasons, just like you don't deserve ire for your opinion - as long as our opinions are not based on hate. Just realize that some people that voted trump hate the hate as much as you do. |
|
I have never had a problem with Republicans or people who have different philosophies of government or policy priorities.
That is now what Trump represented. He cultivated fear and hate. He said horrible things and did horrible things. He cheats in every arena he has ever been in. He has no respect for the rule of law. He lies constantly, is fact-checked, and still his supporters don't care. There seemed to be no line that was too far for Trump supporters. It is 100% unacceptable. |
Or grabbed by the pu**y. Because apparently that's okay. Inauguration Casting Call: Looking for young, hot women to line up along Inauguration Day parade route and let the new Commander-in-Chief grab you by the pu**y! Must be a "10" and the younger, the better. Come make America great again! |
