+1 I usually believe Julie Brown about all of this and I know this is her speculation, but some of what came out indicates Maxwell lied to Todd Blanche so it doesn’t look great for her.

Interesting developments-
*trump called and requested meeting with Mac and bobert to try to get them on board - but they will vote YES to release Epstein files, despite pleading from trump to vote NO. He may be on his way to becoming a lame duck president in year 1 of his term.
*trump then threw a tantrum and is demanding admin to investigate OTHER people in relation to Epstein files - predictably Clinton, but surprisingly JP Morgan. Jp Morgan refused to donate to his ballroom. They have already publicly stated their regret for allowing Epstein as a client.

The sit room meets were to pressure Boebert and Mace, separately, into withdrawing their signatures on the 218 discharge petition so a vote could be averted. Those must have been horrendously high pressure meetings for these women. They bravely stood their ground. I don't agree with them on anything else, BTW.

They have earned my respect in this.

Since she is still alive, I'd guess that she has some sort of backup plan in place. Like in case she dies, what information she has, gets released to the public (by her lawyer, friend, someone anonymous, presumably).

The problem with this is that a large cohort of men- yes, a large number- dont think anything is wrong with 15/16. They really dont. They wouldnt be friends with that person but they arent going to turn them in unless its their daughter (or son). And just wait for the whole - they look 18 or they dress 18 or they act 18 or they tricked them with a fake ID or they wanted it for the money or fame or attention.

Its disgusting and it should be called out every single time. They are going to say things like - its an arbitrary legal line or biologically they can have children at that age or whatever moral backsliding they come up with.

Its 18 point blank. 18-25or so is their own cohort. There are power and other dynamics at play for large age gaps. We can opine on all that but anyone who is an adult should not be involved with a child. There is no grey area. And I do look down on anyone over the age of 25- looking at you 40 year old women and men- who have sex with or date men/women under 25. Its not illegal but its not quite right either.
