| We're thinking about Little Langley in McLean. Is it heavily Republican? Does anyone know if there's been a "mock vote" among students this year and if so, who won? |
| Very much so as is Potomac. |
| DS goes to Langley and we are Democrats. 30-40 percent Democrat at the school in my estimation. |
Who cares, it's a school. |
| Doesn't anyone follow the rule of not talking politics anymore? |
| What a bizarre question. |
| Agreed. This is the problem with Liberals they only want their kids around other liberals. Most conservatives do not try to indoctrinate their kids. |

Polarization is a fact of life in the US on both sides of the great, deep ideological divide.

| Wait, Little Langley is a preschool-8th grade right? Are they teaching partisan politics to PK kids or what. How is a Kindergarten class majority republican or democrat? And if they hold a mock election, even precocious preschoolers probably aren't fully up on the candidates positions on key issues. |
+1 And how do you know the OP isn't looking for a school that is Republican? OP didn't say what their preference is. |

I'd say it's 50/50. McLean and Arlington are very blue, while Great Falls is more red. I think the school has gotten more Liberal with Dr. Scully. She's brought a DC feel to the environment.
We've had mock elections in the past but I doubt we'll do one this time around. Too controversial. We've found the school to be very accepting of diversity of all kinds- ethnic, religious, cultural, experience. It's been a very good experience for both of our kids. - Fiscally conservative, socially liberal family. Parents voting for Trump |
Because Liberala in this area are some of the most intolerant people I have ever met. |
Broad generalizations both ways only strengthen your proposition. Please proceed. |
