Is Little Langley still majority Republican?

The last mock election was with White House animals - Barney, socks, etc.
political candidates arent really discussed.
Scully is a liberal but there's a good mix of dems, republicans and libertarians at the school.
Primary school stays out of politics and so does the lower school.

And how do you know the OP isn't looking for a school that is Republican? OP didn't say what their preference is.

+1- that is what I assumed.

I work around enough of em who are too tone deaf to watch their insensitve comments in group spaces. Why would I subject my kid to that AND pay for it???

Our DC started at Langley this year. Granted, it is early in the year, but we are Democrats and racial minorities and have not heard any political talk. It's the nation's capital, so politics is bound to come up at some point, as it does with our neighbors and friends and people at the grocery store. When we disagree, we tend to steer the conversation in another direction because it is more important to have good, civil relationships than to get sucked into a nasty, polarizing political debate with people you have to interact with. This post is a tempest in a teapot.

Heh heh. The whole raison d'etre of Fox News is to allow a curated world view of a particular type of rather paranoid conservativism. (With that said, there are certainly many intolerant and unreasonable so-called liberals as well -- read a little salon.com if you doubt it.)

Schools are affiliated with political parties now?

Not bizarre at all. My DD is totally stressed about all this political talk and I told her to just say no and do not participate in any political conversations. But, she is attacked by the children of libs on a continuous basis, not because we are not HRC supporters, but because she just doesn't want to talk about it, she is sick of it. Lib parents, stop, just stop.

Sure, con parents. We tell our kids to stop telling your kids that their parents are idiots, not because they're cons, but because they're determined to vote for the biggest buffoon ever foisted on the American electorate. Will that make you feel better, con parents?

I've given my kids talking points to rebuff the liberal nonsense, including why I'm voting for Trump over Her. So far, it's worked. Like most of their parents, liberal kids tend to be a lot of hot air and are not sure what to say when confronted by facts and reason.

Still for Trump after the tape? Given the facts of "grab them by the pussy?"

Disgusting. But hardly a crime.

Destroying 30,000 emails might be one.

A choice between two atrocious choices.

Each side seem blinded by ideology from seeing their candidate for what they are.

How about allegations of rape made by multiple women under oath?

God, you people have such a blind spot of rage when it comes to the Clintons. Yeah, the 90s were so awful. The fact that you can consider Hillary Clinton and DONALD F*CKING TRUMP anywhere in the same universe of candidate just proves how deranged the GOP has become. Really, you're the reincarnations of the Know Nothings, okay?

Can't wait until your heads collectively explode on November 9. Why don't you move to the Carribean already? Your money is probably already parked--along with Putin's and Trump's--in some shell company at a post office box address there already, anyway. Either that, or your mom's still doing your laundry while you live in her basement, alternating between playing COD and clumsily breaking down and badly cleaning your Glocks.

My DD in a private HS has the same exact issue. It is relentless. Please stop.

Can this thread be deleted? It has nothing to do with The Langley School whatsoever. Take this to the political forum.

Makes a lot of sense. Now I hope you'd understand if some other parents said they are looking for schools with few Dems or blacks so their kids are not exposed to anti-police BLM rhetoric.

This is how segregation happens.
