Where’s Melania?

Okay, that's really not good.

+1

Then why do her friends say they haven’t heard from her? Why do they say her cell phone is off?

Do they say that? That's really scary.

Also, just as a random: poster who thinks Trump.does everything right--what's your point of pride with him? Is it Israel? The babies? Jesus? Tax cuts? Just curious what sort of unpaid person would be vouching for him and why right now.

I have not heard this one before. Do you have a reliable link that quotes her friends saying this?

This is the most likely explanation. Nothing's seriously wrong since the rest of the family is going about their business as usual.

The entire family is totally insane. I'm a bit worried for her.

Does Walter Reed do plastic surgery?

Nothing adds up here

Let it go. She obviously needs to rest.

Supposedly she will miss the Singapore and G7 summits http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/390485-melania-trump-wont-travel-to-g7-singapore-summits

Yes, they do. Priority is for trauma cases and and presumably First Ladies. More free stuff for billionaires.

So do I. Doesn't mean I disappear from society and shut my phone off for 24+ days.

They surely do reconstructive surgery of all types on wounded veterans. But I’m not buying that it wouldn’t have been leaked if something like that happened. Is there any evidence that she was even at WRNMMC or that POTUS visited her there? It’s not like there was a photo op
With any of our wounded warriors.

Maybe the facelift paralyzed her face and she's waiting for that to disappear?

No, she’s working hard. Please try to keep up.

Walter Reed has Secret Service secured ORs and the security and privacy of a military hospital. Since security is the primary concern for a member of the first family, they can secure a military hospital and bring whatever specialist and surgical team to her. It’s a lot better for her privacy and security than taking her to Georgetown or GW or NYC.

Omg that made me laugh!

The WH is going through another death by a 1000 papercuts issue, and even Trumpkins know it. Whatever the truth is, it is worse than they initially thought. Or everyone knew it was bad and Trump is in denial. Given the size of his ego, my bet is that his wife left him for good, and he does not want to admit that to the world.

Well, it will come out eventually. She can’t hide a secret service detachment and a teenager forever. They may as well come clean now, get a few days of bad press, and let people move on to the next Trump outrage, rather than lie for a couple months, and then have the truth come out, and then have to deal with the coverup and the underlying problem.

Whatever it is is certainly very, very bad if she is not showing up for Trump’s alleged Nobel moment.

Yes, your theory is certainly "undeniable"! Since you said so, and everything.

NP. That literally is the Occam’s Razor definition of what is happening here. That you try to laugh about it is just painful. An admin that wasn’t a sack of gag gifts from Spencer’s could have picked one good lie and gone with it. “Mrs. Trump is having kidney surgery and will be out of commission for a while.” A day later say she had some complications but is resting comfortably and she will take a lite longer to recuparate than expected. Everyone would have thought the crap hit the fan during surgery and no one would have cared.

This? They’re just incompetent and Donald clearly doesn’t care about her.

If you're going to go with Occam's Razor, at least do it properly. The simplest assumption is that (obviously) her surgery was more complicated than they had expected and/or they found something additional, thus she is convalescing for longer than usual. What you and your looney cohorts are doing is trying to find the MOST complicated outlandish assumptions you can, and then claim they must be true.

What is truly painful is reading post after idiotic post from numbskulls who are intent on making this into a scandal, when the simplest explanation is most likely the most credible. Maybe you should refresh yourself on what Occam's Razor actually means.

Honestly, given who her husband is, the simplest assumption to make is too ghastly to mention. These "outlandish" assumptions, as you call them, are infinitely more charitable than the simplest assumption.

No, actually, they're not. They're stupid and juvenile.
