It's so interesting to see how everyone was faking it in the polygamist family. No one was happy, everyone had favorites, there was jealousy and neglect. Cody is a huge jerk.

I agree. And I blame Meri and Janelle for being so blind to all of this. He can barely stand you—get out. Christine would probably love to have Janelle or even Meri live with her until they figured things out. Or both of them could live at the B and B. Pre COVID, fine. But after this mess of a season, I have to think they are all gone.

I think at least with Janelle and Christine there was true happiness being part of a big family and helping raise each other’s kids. I think they are happy that their kids who are half siblings are close.

I stopped watching it. The whole lot of them are social media, MLM grifters. Its just a modern day freak show.

No, they are independent contractors. Not sure if you can still pay in the way someone who runs their own business can.

Christine actually worked nights when the kids were little. The narrative that she was the stay at home mom was a lie. It came out when she was talking about how Kody refused to put their kids to bed while she worked nights, so Aspyn (their oldest) had to do it.

Those two have a real sister wife relationship that will go on past the end of the show.

Robyn capitalized on the fractures in the other relationships by making sure ALL her needs were met, knowing that it would come at the further deterioration of the other relationships. It’s why things are so lopsided now. Kody allowed it to happen, but she is not innocent. She can’t see beyond her own selfishness. Even knowing that Kody was ALWAYS with her, she still gaslit Christine and told her relationship with Kody wasn’t THAT bad or that she didn’t even TRY (for 25 years) and then cried that Christine ruined HER dream.

Kody is a tool, but she’s an ace manipulator. And in this most recent episodes, her mask is slipping.
