Maybe his new job as a cat executioner got him thrown out?

There's a lot of chit-chat about this on other forums. For those who don't want to follow the link, Ryan boasted about luring stray cats onto his property and shooting them (or, shooting the stray cats that came onto his property, depending on which story you believe). While deplorable, the scenes of Ryan and his parents hint at much deeper rift. I personally think drugs could be involved, but also a situation in which his mother has been covering for him, and maybe lying to his father on his behalf. Maybe involving drugs, maybe involving his time with Bentley, maybe involving something completely different. Larry seemed especially harsh with Jen when he was complaining about Ryan, which is uncharacteristic, given the footage we've seen of him. Really, Larry has been shown crying when talking about how he wants Ryan to find a loving wife and grow up, the way that Larry found Jen and made his own life complete.

I really do wonder if Jen had been lying to Larry about something involving Ryan, and Larry found out about it.

There's also the theory that Larry is an alcoholic (always shown with a beer, very emotional) and maybe there were some incidents that pre-date 16&P/TM that Ryan won't/can't let go of.

I also don't understand why Ryan doesn't work. I'm actually pretty forgiving with these people, because honestly, if I had money rolling in from a TV show, especially at their age of immaturity, I can't say that I would see the value of pulling a full-time gig either. For example, I can't fault Jo on TM2 for not working because his MTV money more than supports his lifestyle, and that of his children, and he wants to be with his kids full time. There's logic there. But Ryan doesn't have Bentley on a regular basis, and doesn't seem to have any other projects to keep himself occupied. He was a diesel mechanic, which clearly was a high-interest job for him. why not keep doing that, even just part-time, since he enjoys that type of work? It probably pays pretty well.

SOMETHING REALLY BAD HAD TO HAPPEN ESPECIALLY FOR HIS FATHER TO SAY, " if he was on fire I wouldn't even piss on him." Wowwwww Ryan is a dead beat dad, his father is tired of it. He's embarrassed of his son Ryan. That's what I think.

Farrah opens her store.

Matt and Amber spent $900 in a children's store to get Amber's daughter first day of school clothes, and then doesn't wear any of those clothes on the 1st day.

You forgot: Rahn takes Biintley to a water park!

Oops!!!! He was playing ball with him too in the backyard!

+ Rahn had crazy eyes when he was trimming trees.

Yup he sure did. I thought I was bugging. Ryan looked badddddd.

I felt so bad that that fat ass creep Gary and his sloppy looking wife didn't let Amber's daughter wear that pretty dress the first day of school. Booboo loved that dress. Then here goes her dad Gary basically convincing her to choose a different outfit. Yes $900 dollars is a lot of $ to walk out of the store with only like two bags but hey she had the money to do it so… at the end of the day Gary and his wife ar both jealous of Amber. Amber's got her life almost all together, she's in the financial position to do things.

I am so tired of Cate using her depression as an excuse over and over and over again man she'll be divorced soon.
I think everybody is starting to feel bad for Tyler. Even Tyler's mother she sees right through Cate. Throughout the show you start seeing she's kind of regretting having this baby.

Farrah I think her froco business would've been better if she did it under someone else's name. I'm not trying to throw shade it's just that it's hard for some people to look beyond her you know other line of work. Oh And asking someone if they have kids on a job interview that was crazy. Although it is not necessarily illegal to ask that question it is illegal to use the response as A justification to not give someone a job. She's clearly not that intelligent.

When I watched that episode I didn't hear him say that so I just googled it and you are right he did say that. Why did he say that about his own son? That's messed up.

Larry concludes his rant by calling Ryan “a f--king bum” and letting it be known that “[he] wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire.”

Wow. I haven't see the show in years and finally caught an episode of the show. How old are the kids- Leah, Bentley and Sofia? Catylin looks a mess- how did she gain so mch weight and why is she falling apart and can't drag herself out of bed to get to a 9 am spot. She is not aging well. Maci has three kids? Are the two youngest by the same guy? I thought Leah would be massive by now like Gary but was surprised to see she isn't. Happy to see Leah is a normal weight.

Leah is just adorable, and seems to have a good personality.

The OG kids must be what, 7 now?

I feel for Catelynn and Tyler. They had such a good chance to do better for themselves. Catelynn seems to have major depression, even post rehab.

The kids are 7ish now, in 1st/2nd grade. Catelynn gained weight because she doesn't work, is depressed, smokes a lot of pot, and had another baby. Tyler is also pudgin' out. Maci's two youngest are with her now-husband, Taylor. She claims the newborn was an oops baby, but she also claims that about Bentley and Jayde, so she must be the luckiest infertile woman ever. Leah has been living full time with Gary for many years, and has apparently a terrific stepmom in Kristina. While both parents are overweight, I could also see G&K recognizing this and encouraging activity for Leah.

The kids are all at least 7. Bentley is the oldest and about to turn 8. Don't think I'm nuts, I only remember because my son was born the same week as he was.

I've always thought that Leah is very smart, too.

Leah is sharp!
Gary: I know you feel left out sometimes. Maybe you and I can do some more things together, just the two of us.
Leah: Well, I like to get up early. Maybe you could try that?

zing!

Catelynn (and Tyler but esp. her) NEEDS to get a job. Doesn't matter if it's just retail or waitressing. Doesn't matter if she doesn't need the money due to MTV cash. And I'm not suggesting that work will cure depression. BUT I think it will feel good to wake up, shower, and need to be someplace on a daily basis. She herself has said she liked the "structure" of rehab. Why not emulate some kind of structure with work? Not suggesting that work will be earth shattering, but sleeping until noon (I'm guessing) and being on perpetual summer vacation with your "supportive" DH -- who still puts you down -- isn't so great either. It wouldn't hurt to be out of the house 40 hrs a week; have a boss who demands you get something done; have coworkers -- whether they are your BFFs or not -- who you can chat with casually about things that are not as deep as giving up your daughter for adoption . . . .

Even if she broke down her week this way it would be good:

10 hours a week of working out (maybe an hour a day in a gym and an hour a day taking a yoga or dance class or swimming laps or something
10 hours a week of volunteering
10 hours a week of baby classes of some sort
10 hours a week of paid job of some sort

Farrah as a boss...OMG..."I'm severancing the relationship"...LOL!!!

I was literally just thinking that! Farrah thinks she's the shit but she's an idiot. She has no sense of professionalism. Or as she would say "no sense of professioanlisming". She says all these words and phrases to sound smart, at work, with Simon and her parents and always comes out looking like a fool.
