Probably. Until some enterprising person starts projecting things about Trump onto the tarp. Then it will all come down. Or another court order is issued to remove everything. But the order won't be followed outright, per usual. Or it will be left up juuuuuust long enough to be petty and annoying and the line will be that "the workers needed a rest/time off instead of having them work to remove everything immediately". This is straight out of the narcissist playbook of what they do after narcissistic injury. The entire country is getting an education on what it's like to be in a "relationship" with a malignant narcissist (add in a side of dementia). It's a special kind of hell. Divorcing one is even worse. |

The beautiful thing about the plastic covering is that it means Trump knows how much he's hated. He knows. If he really though the people loved him, he know there would be an uproar about the removal.
But he knows he's despised and just how happy people would be to cheer the removal of his stupid name. |

Who knows what tonight's rug pull is going to be, but there are crews there now, and work of some sort is being done. I hope someone is planning to show up with a projector, though, just in case.

Yes, it was removed yesterday, but now the tarp is up and he wants to keep it up permanently. So essentially he has removed his own name AND John F. Kennedy‘s name from the Kennedy Center. |

Of course the old letters are still there but the point is that the tarp doesn’t need to be there anymore and yet it remains. Why? |

It's there because Trump does not want to display this public defeat. His name is gone, and that is a defeat. I did read that he is hoping to put it back up as he has appealed to the Circuit Court. |
