Yes, he’s really staying focused on those teleprompters.

I think he’s doing great. The speech started slow but he’s doing well now, joking about his age, and responding to the crowd chants (eg when they say thank you Joe for the legislation, he said to thank Kamala too).

I think a lot of these are points he wanted to make in the debate but he was just too knaclered red from the travel and the cold (and I also think his ear piece was maybe malfunctioning).

If Biden were 10 or even 5 years younger then he would be a two term president, no problem. Unfortunately that isn’t the case. He’s making the case that his administration- which includes Harris as a key player - has done a lot of good for this country and there can be continuity by electing Harris.

At least he can control himself, unlike Trump who is dangerously undisciplined.

Is Biden going to explain why he insisted there was “nothing he could do” about the border - until he decided to sign that EO in an election year?

Buh bye.

It's what politicians do.

No, he actually is universally loved by most people — in the old days, even the republicans liked him a lot. He’s a likeable guy. But that doesn’t mean he’s the right person for the job at this moment. That’s not hard to understand if you’re not a narcissist. It’s Trump and his kind that think you must be rude or die all the time or it’s a major betrayal.

DP. It was extremely narcissistic of him to insist he was running up until he had to be forced out. What an ego.

Exactly.

As to him stepping aside, I’m not sure why it’s so hard to hold two things as truth at the same time - he’s a valued member of the party, but he is not THE party, and it was obvious him trying to do 4 more years was a huge risk for the future of the party.

He’s doing a great job connecting Harris to his legacy.

I love Joe.

They do like him. And also he's not in any condition to be president 4 more years. Is that really difficult for you to understand? What are you confused about?

Indeed. MAGAs are uneducated dimwits.

Republicans were saying for months that he wasn’t in any condition to be president for 4 more years, and Democrats constantly denied it and called us trolls. And *we’re* the uneducated dimwits? Nice try.
DP

If you’re still currently supporting the Republican who isn’t in any condition to be president for four more years, you’re a dimwit.

Tim looks like the weight of pushing Biden out is weighing on him.
