Oh yes there is!

"Opossums are marsupials native to the Americas. They are characterized by white faces and sharp teeth. Possums are marsupials native to Australia and some neighboring countries. They are characterized by prehensile tails." Now you just learned something else!

Opossums are from Ireland. MacPossums from Scotland. EhPossums from Canada. ElPossums from Spain. VanPossums from Holland. GoFyourPossums are from NYC.

no it's v or vs no @ needed. But when looking up scores the team on the right will be the home team and some will say @

Except Soccer apparently.

You (generally) need an ID to get through a TSA checkpoint. I am always behind the person who slept through the past, what, 40 years.

OMG THIS! When I hear this my skin crawls.

That’s a super important point that ostensibly and presumably shows how super important it is to pay super close attention to what we all know to presumably be good grammar.

If you're saying "per", as in "per the court documents, he is not to be around children" or "per the email from John, Mike will be there" you don't need the word "as"! I don't know if it's a new thing or I just never noticed it, but man, the number of people who write out things like "as per the itinerary, we will get there at 5" or "as per her schedule, she will not be there" is crazy.

Interesting! Please explain!!

She can't, because hers is a misogynistic argument designed to rob women of agency and autonomy.

It’s not, Merry Christmas from the Bombeck’s, it’s Merry Christmas from the Bombecks.

The Miller’s, Established 2006 should not be on your door placard. Your mailbox shouldn’t read Martinelli’s, 124 Main St.

Remember that stationERy=papER. You might ride a stationary bike that doesn’t move.

The (school) principal is your PAL and follows educational principles.

Beautiful!!

What should it be if your name ends in an S? For example "Merry Christmas from the Jones" Joneses? Just stick with "Merry Christmas from the Jones Family?"
?"

Jonses or Jones family.

Don’t think the first is correct. You’ve changed the spelling of their name.

Men should sleep around before they get married so they get it out of their system - at least 20-30. It’s easier that way then later after having married and having kids then decide they want to sleep around.

This is very common in Indian English especially among older people (read colonial teaching). “As per our earlier correspondence, please come by the evening train”.

The standard women’s athletic/running shoe has 2 sets of 6-7 eyelets on each shoe, equaling 45-50 inch laces. You’re welcome.
