I’d like to think Merrick Garland’s statements this morning about former AG Robert Jackson and Nuremberg was in part a response to Cotton’s disgusting comments about Judge Jackson. |
Lindsey Graham is a natural sidekick, and McCain was his Alpha. When McCain passed, Graham had to find a new Alpha to latch onto, and Donny Smallhands was right there waiting. |
| The more of her record that comes out the less I like. |
Sure. You disliked her from the beginning. |
| Who cares what the GOP thinks? Judge Jackson is going to rightfully sail to confirmation. No Democrats voted for Barret and only Manchin voted for Kavanaugh, so it's just business as usual. Tom Cotton is a POS though. |
Since you’re anonymous and provide zero details about her “record”, why would you imagine that your likes or dislikes matter to anyone? |
Very good point. |
When was the last time the GOP nominated someone who wasn’t a political hack? What was the vote then? |
Kennedy was almost unanimous. I think Scalia was unanimous but he was most definitely a political hack. |
Zero people should have voted for Kavanaugh. He raged during his hearing, was credibly accused of an attempted rape and was a political hack for decades. And for those who say that he was justified for having been accused of attempted rape: remember his obsession with Bill Clinton’s sex life. He had no right to be upset. KBJ, on the other hand: if the GOP weren’t a flaming bag of poop, she should be unanimously confirmed. |
