I see the GOP are following their talking points that direct many of them to say “what we did to Brett, we won’t do to you.”

She is 100x more qualified than any of the muffins from the GOP.

Grassley is just shy of 90 and running again this year. Just saying. Optimism? Delusion?

He's weirdly immature.

Yes. And so inappropriately emotional. Cringe.

My 17 year old assures me that saying cringe is now, well, cringeworthy. There’s a hand sign instead or something.

I don't want to dialogue about some journalist thoughts.

See US v. Stewart (a man traveled across state lines to abuse a 9 year old girl) Judge Brown sentenced him to 57 months when sentencing guidelines are 97-121 months.

See US v. Cooper (Def. has more than 600 images of children on a blog. sentenced to 60 months --> the lowest possible sentencing.

What did the probation report recommend?

So, in all but two cases she gave as much or more time than the federal Probation Office recommended, and in the other two, her doward departure was within the average doward departure range by federal judges? Yeah. I’m failing to see an issue. Ignoring the ProbTion office because of her personal feelings towards a dependent would make her a … wait for it… activist judge.

I though Hawley went to law school. Did he flunk criminal law?

A “hand sign”? Cringe.

Find yourself a partner who tears up at your confirmation hearings (and now I am tearing up, too)

Let me translate: I'm a racist, saying something racist, but trying to code it just a little bit because that way maybe you won't think I am a racist or at least I have some (im)plausible deniability.

Are you smoking crack? She's way more qualified than the last SC justice that was confirmed.

I have to admit that I did not watch yesterday but I am surprised how unimpressed by her I am. There is a lack of substance with her answers. I believe she is qualified and will be approved but I’m just not impressed with what I am seeing.
