It's a dangerous camouflage and there isn't even mention of the 'burqa' in the Quran.
It was created by men to enslave "their" women. |
|
There are a lot of Western/American clothing items and practice whose purpose it to objectify or exploit women.
If you're going to argue against it, the dangerous camouflage reason would be the least hypocritical. |
| "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." |
This. Also, are you dumb, OP? Not a lot of burqas around here. |
| I see burkas downtown and in gtown all the time. |
I doubt you know the difference between a burqa, hijab and niqab, or even a kaffiyeh for that matter. |
|
How about the other end of the spectrum?
Why don't we ban the string bikini...thongs...push up bras...nudie magazines...half naked models selling paint thinner...etc. |
| I don't recall our terrorists wearing burqas. I'm sure it happened somewhere in the world, but more people have been killed by men in white sheets than women in black sheets, and we still allow those. |
|
Great idea. Let's ban yarmulkes, crosses and bindis, too.
God bless America. |
| I think we need more burqas - especially in flyover country and walmart. |
Good enough for Borat
Mrs. Trump
And Jesus. And |
This. They do a lot more harm to women than any old black sheet. |

+1 PP has given you some great vocab - now go look them up. I think I have seen one burqa in my ten years living in this area. More niqab and obviously a ton of hijab. But burqas? No. |
There are some around. I used to see a lady on the green line wearing a burqa. |
