With there being a lot of stories about how essential Kate is to the monarchy and how she’s such a peacemaker and of course with Carole letting her embarrassing brother out of the basement to give Kate focused interviews.

And then there was a weird paragraph in Dan Wotton’s article for their anniversary:

“ Sure, it hasn’t been easy and there have been significant bumps in the road, but I now truly believe they will break the royal marriage curse and stay together for as long as they are both alive”

Just weird to emphasize staying together.

The British tabloids like to threaten people with passive-aggressive BS. 'Stay together' or else. Aside from that Wootton all but confirmed the Rose Hanbury/mistress story. So that's interesting.

I think its just starting to sink in for Kate just how disposable she is. There’s still a healthy dose of denial but it’s there. I doubt William would divorce her before he becomes king—it would be too disruptive, but there’s no guarantee after. And he’s making it clear he’s not going to stop the affairs.

Its a very precarious position to be in. And a few years from now, the same applies for Charlotte and Louis.

It’s comical how delusional Meghan stans are about the Cambridges.

I’m confused. What does any of this have to do with Meghan???

The same Rose Hanbury has to do with the Sussexes?

Nobody is perfect. That’s such a junior high way of looking at life. Have you learned nothing?

Now imagine if the King and Queen of Spain tried to use the William/Kate argument of 'we're raising young kids, you can't expect us to work'. Nevermind the fact that the Cambridges also didn't work during the entirety of their 20s and early 30s.

After graduating from college William attended Sandringham and then became a military helicopter pilot. He quit after 7 years to do more royal work. Just because you don’t see him out in the hustings doesn’t mean he isn’t working.

Kate worked for her mother’s company and has been a working member of the BRF since her marriage to William. Not sure why you think they didn’t work .

For the thousandth time Sandringham is a piece of property. Do you mean Sandhurst? And Kate worked part-time as an accessories buyer after college (not at Party Pieces).

Why would she work part-time? To be available for William/another good match or is this common in Britain for the wealthy?

To be available for William. I have a few wealthy British friends from high school (we were the only well-regarded private in our area with an IB program which is better for families who are in America for business but want their kids to go to school back home) and they all worked full-time after college. Plus it seems like everyone else from William and Harry’s social set worked full-time after college.

That's very interesting. Why wouldn't she just fill her time with charity work similar to what she does as a working royal? Clearly she didn't need the money and had no interest in that or any career. Also, wasn't she a history major? Taking a job in the highly competitive world of fashion just to keep up appearances is ludicrous. It definitely didn't help her at all with the press.

She looks like Karen Carpenter in those photos.

The video the Cambridges posted is absolutely beautiful, and like anything anybody post on social media is a glimpse into a happy moment in their family, not the stressful messy crazy moments that every family has. I’m curious about all the wild asinine comments about William supposed affairs, where is this coming from? Is this the haters that support Megan coming to attack the beautiful Cambridges yet again because they are dying of jealousy?? There is zero proof William would ever have any affair and the rumor are nasty hate that came, like so much evil did, with the arrival of the snake Meghan.

Wait, what?

DP. The woman he was known to be in an affair with showed up with the Middletons/Cambridges just as the pandemic started - that was William's way of saying 'she's here, deal with it' and Kate did. Same thing Charles did with Diana.

Which woman in the picture is he supposedly having the affair with? And what evidence does anyone have? Curious as clearly these are people no one on here knows in real life.

The last one on the left in the Russian beaver hat is Rose. The woman second from right with Russian beaver hat + red gloves is Carole - Kate's mother.

And for anyone in a relationship where there is an imbalance of power or money. This is nothing new.

I'm the one who mentioned the passive-aggressive BS. Something I forgot to mention, the imbalance is particularly hard for Kate because William bought her parent's house. And that is publicly documented btw. Most aristocrats like Diana have a family home. Even Camilla has a home separate from Charles. Kate doesn't. Her parents don't either.

What is the evidence they were having an affair? These people all move in the same social circles and live nearby so why is it surprising they would show up to the same events?

Yes, but usually that imbalance doesn’t carry over to your children. She seems like she was willing to sacrifice whatever it took for a shot a being part of the royal family. After the wedding and kids, she probably felt like it was worth it. Now she has to deal with the affairs and it’s getting harder to keep up appearances. I imagine it’s probably a big reality check to see how William is treating Harry because that’s a preview of how her younger children will be treated.

Quite the alternate reality some of you live in.
