The BRF equivalent of Leonor would be Prince Charles, right? I don't recall mommy holding his hand at royal events.

Now imagine if the King and Queen of Spain tried to use the William/Kate argument of 'we're raising young kids, you can't expect us to work'. Nevermind the fact that the Cambridges also didn't work during the entirety of their 20s and early 30s.

Please show us your spreadsheets on how much work they were doing.

DP. One of your grandchildren teach you about spreadsheets? You always use this as some sort of sick burn but it really doesn’t even make sense that someone compiling that data would use Excel to do so.

So cute and I see a ton of Charlotte in him.

(....and the mom in me wants to believe he wears a bike helmet, but took it off for the photo shoot....although it would've shown a good example if it was in the background).

I think it is a cuter picture we can see his whole head. Same reason he isn't wearing a mask! I'm sure it was just for the picture.

Not PP. I agree about the mask but disagree about the helmet. He could even have had one hanging from the bike handle.

After graduating from college William attended Sandringham and then became a military helicopter pilot. He quit after 7 years to do more royal work. Just because you don’t see him out in the hustings doesn’t mean he isn’t working.

Kate worked for her mother’s company and has been a working member of the BRF since her marriage to William. Not sure why you think they didn’t work .

For the thousandth time Sandringham is a piece of property. Do you mean Sandhurst? And Kate worked part-time as an accessories buyer after college (not at Party Pieces).

Why would she work part-time? To be available for William/another good match or is this common in Britain for the wealthy?

To be available for William. I have a few wealthy British friends from high school (we were the only well-regarded private in our area with an IB program which is better for families who are in America for business but want their kids to go to school back home) and they all worked full-time after college. Plus it seems like everyone else from William and Harry’s social set worked full-time after college.

Kate’s face is too heavily re-touched in the photos. She practically looks like a Kardashian. She’s a beautiful woman so it seems very unnecessary.

Something weird seems to be going on with them. I noticed that in the past 6 months their PR machine seems to be very separate. With there being a lot of stories about how essential Kate is to the monarchy and how she’s such a peacemaker and of course with Carole letting her embarrassing brother out of the basement to give Kate focused interviews.

And then there was a weird paragraph in Dan Wotton’s article for their anniversary:

“ Sure, it hasn’t been easy and there have been significant bumps in the road, but I now truly believe they will break the royal marriage curse and stay together for as long as they are both alive”

Just weird to emphasize staying together.

The British tabloids like to threaten people with passive-aggressive BS. 'Stay together' or else. Aside from that Wootton all but confirmed the Rose Hanbury/mistress story. So that's interesting.

What are you nattering about? William isn't going to ascend the throne for at least the next 2 decades.

So no work for 40 years? Wow.

Jealous much?

I mean...who wouldn’t be? But the bigger issue will be once all of their subjects start getting jealous too.

And imagine once the commonwealth countries start getting a little jealous too... Remember they’re the ones paying for Will and Kate’s life of leisure.

It will be interesting to see how things play out after the queen is gone.

I think its just starting to sink in for Kate just how disposable she is. There’s still a healthy dose of denial but it’s there. I doubt William would divorce her before he becomes king—it would be too disruptive, but there’s no guarantee after. And he’s making it clear he’s not going to stop the affairs.

Its a very precarious position to be in. And a few years from now, the same applies for Charlotte and Louis.

It’s comical how delusional Meghan stans are about the Cambridges.

Precarious, yes. But I'm one of those who believes that if he doesn't/didn't divorce her before becoming PoW - he won't later. William doesn't want to be compared to his father and there's nothing more 'I want to be your tampon' than divorcing the current Princess of Wales.

Its my opinion that they'll ride it, and all of the affairs, out. Just like Phillip + Elizabeth did. Just like Sofia + Juan Carlos did. The latter couple are still married even though he was caught on a safari with a mistress, lost the throne, and he's currently living in exile in the Emirates without her.
