Creepy

That was one of the most chilling videos I have ever seen. So creepy. So unbelievably creepy.

I'm watching now. It's riveting. I can barely see her photo without crying. Poor child.

Never ignore your gut. People were creeped out by the Santa at the funeral for a reason.

Was the santas ever investigated?

Yes briefly. No evidence connected him to the scene, he had recently had heart surgery, and Boulder PD ruled him out.

What? Who missed the call?

Dear god, people. It couldn't be more obvious that the "call" came from inside the home. It's the family.

If anything like that happened to my kid, I'm an open door. Tear apart my house until it is nothing but shreds. I give zero fucks about anything but my child.

Keep me in a room to interview me for as long as you want. I need no lawyer because I just care about my kid.

Yes, this. That they would only take written questions from the police through their lawyer is such a red flag. You would literally have to drag me from the police station until I gave them every bit of information they needed. Also, in the police interview with Burke, he said something that I thought was very interesting. When he was recalling the events of the night, he said his mother came into his room in a panic, but she never stopped to look around his room for JB....this was before she found the ransom note on the stairs. If your kid is missing in your large house, you are going to search closets, under the bed, etc. to see if they are hiding.

So true. Awhile back we were visiting my MIL and my 2 year old slept in the queen bed in the guest bedroom with my 6 yo for the first time. In the middle of the night my husband got up to check on them and the 2 year old wasn't in the bed. He came and told me and it was like 4 am but we had lights BLAZING and were frantically looking for her. I was checking windows, doors, anything. Eventually all this commotion woke her up and she started fussing... From under the bed, where she had rolled after falling off at some point in the middle of the night. But there were a few minutes where my child was not in the house as far as I knew and I was ripping that place apart trying to find her.

What if you found a ransom note first saying she was gone?
