War with Iran

Which ME countries shouldn't be eradicated? Kuwait, UAE, maybe Oman? Any others?

Strange perspective.

It appears they just enabled the US to eliminate one of our greatest adversaries.

If this works out (granted, a big if), they’ve enabled us to achieve a remarkable strategic victory.
Dems are stupid if they think it’s gonna play well to defend the ayatollah

Why do we have the dumbest party
This is the same dumb logic that led many Dems to support going into Iraq.

That creates a vulnerability. Iran is deploying waves of inexpensive drones & ballistic missiles to exhaust remaining interceptor inventories before escalating with more advanced, higher-capability weapons.

This layered saturation tactic was raised by U.S. generals—but those warnings appear to have gone unheeded.“

So far it looks like not much cause for military concern.

Longer term stability of new regime is more likely to be an issue.

Israel has always wanted to turn Iran into a Syria, Libya, Iraq. 10+ year civil war with millions of refugees, mass death, and destruction that will take generations to recover (If they're lucky). Regime change never ends well.

Israel won't win this war.

Israel has won every war since 1948, this will be no different, pro-Palestinian wishful thinking notwithstanding.

And as Americans we'll all be sitting around wondering why the next iteration of Al Qaeda is mounting terror attacks on US soil.

We have an immense capacity for self-delusion.

We have an immense capacity to retaliate and to destroy those who attack us. We can do it in response to an unprovoked attack, or proactively, as now. Hiding under the covers and hoping the terrorists will just leave us alone is not a viable strategy. Eliminating the terrorists decisively, instead of a little here, a little there, and then stopping before the job is done is how we got here.

So do the people we are attacking.

So when does this song and dance end?

Retaliation till the end of time? How many more trillions till Israel finally feels safe?

Maybe they shouldn’t be in that neighborhood if it’s so unsafe

Neither Iran nor the Palestinians have capabilities remotely comparable to those of the U.S. and of Israel. They can inflict pinpricks, Israel and the U.S. can obliterate them in return. Anyone who thinks otherwise is mistaking restraint for weakness.

The "song-and-dance" ends when the terror ends. At present, Hamas is refusing to disarm, and Iran is refusing to abjure nuclear weapons and support for terrorist proxies. The threats will be eliminated, one way or another, once and for all. Sadly, eliminating terror is rarely one and done, it requires determination, persistence, and finality, which are currently on display thanks to the U.S. and Israel. More power to them.

American voters elected Trump and Biden. We are as much to blame for this mess as the billionaire class.

I'm seeing reports Dubai International Aiport was hit and is now being evacuated. Since US citizens and non essential staff in UAE, Qatar etc were not given the option to evacuate yesterday, this could cause a real problem with people stuck in the region.

Iranian and Palestinian warmongers need to be eradicated. Happily, it's happening.

DP. Are you saying Trump does? I guess you have a gold bathroom, steal billions from the US tax payers and rape women just like Trump!

Do you even think before opening your mouth?

Interesting. I guess we’ll see. I was pretty surprised when they said he was killed in his palace. This has obviously been coming for at least a month, so I don’t know why he’d be in such an obvious and unprotected location.

So you think the U.S. will be unable to defeat a 3rd world dictatorship because some weapons may not be available in unlimited quantities? Precision munitions are effective in small quantities, or do you prefer carpet bombing?
